My mother hasn't moved from the old house and I was happy that I would be living in this house. The bedroom that was once my sisters is now my daughter's room, for when she would come over.

Turns out she would come here ever 2 weeks and stay for a month. My mother told me that Jack and Kat would always be going on trips and wouldn't take Scarless, which I was disappointed about.

I couldn't get up the stairs because I was in a wheelchair, so I would have to sleep on the couch, it turned into a bed, so it wouldn't be that bad. My mom said that she would get one of those things that help people with wheelchairs get upstairs.

I told that she didn't have to do that, that I would buy it. I still had my money. She said fine but that she was paying for the bill from the hospital. I also said no to that and after 30 minutes of arguing about it, we decided that we would split it.

Right now Liza and Liam are over. Liam is playing with Scarlett, while Liza and I talked. She told me about the wedding and all of the drama in between. There wasn't much, they had to perfect relationship.

I suddenly got a text from an unknown number.

Unknown Number

Hello, Ms.Kathrine. It's the Doctor. Just checking up. How are you?

Me

Hi Mr.Doctor. I'm doing fine

I didn't actually get his name.

Mr.Doctor

Good. I was wondering if you could meet up with me.

Me

Umm... Sure.

"Why are you smiling at your phone?" Liza said snapping me away from my phone.

"No reason," I said slowly pulling my phone to my chest because I knew she would take it.

She smirked and moved to grab my phone, I wasn't able to keep it from her because of the fact I can't move much.

She looked at my phone and smiled.

"Mr.Doctor huh?" She said.

"Shut up. He is just checking up on me." I said feeling a light blush forming on my cheeks.

She hummed "Then why does it sound like you guys are going to meet up."

"You know as much as me," I said

She sighed and her face changed.

"Rose, I want you to be careful. For you, you and Jack just broke up. I don't think your ready for another relationship. I just don't want you to go into something that your not ready for." She said

I knew that she cared about me.

"I know," I said, "It's just, he seems nice and another friend wouldn't hurt."

"Yeah? Well, don't go breaking his heart" She smirked

I roll my eyes "He's probably married anyway. He probably just wants to get more money."

She rolled her eyes but changed the subject.

Liza was gone and it was now 8:30 and it was time to put Scarlett to bed. Sadly her room was upstairs and I wasn't able to go up there.

She climbed up the stairs when she gets to the top she looks back and sees I'm not there and frowned.

"Mommy, aren't you coming?" She said

I gave her a sad smile. I wasn't sure how to explain to her that I couldn't. Luckily my mom came in the room with Ryan.

"Of course she is." My mom got behind my wheelchair and Ryan got in front and they lifted me up the stairs. I was surprised that my mom was this strong. I understand Ryan because he is a pretty built man.

Scarlett clapped her hands and squealed and ran into her room. They set me down. Ryan and I have gotten somehow close within the last couple weeks. I'm not going to say that he is like a father now, because no one will ever replace my real dad, but he is a very close friend.

He came and gave me a kiss on my forehead and ruffled my hair. "Sleep tight, kid." he said

One thing I didn't like was that he called me kid, I mean I'm 22, almost 23.

My mom said good night and they went to their room. I wheeled myself to Scarlett's room. She had already changed into her PJ's and was getting into bed.

She asked me to read her a book. I couldn't refuse her so I went to her bookself and grabbed a book.

I read to her for about 5 minutes before she became sleepy.

She yawned and said "Mommy, can we go see daddy tomorrow?"

She hadn't been able to see Jack since I got out of the hospital, which was about a week ago.

"Yeah, sure baby," I said. I leaned in as much as I could and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

I turn off her lamp and put the book on her small side table.
