"Morning," Hank greeted her from behind his morning newspaper that he was reading at the kitchen table as he heard her walkng down the stairs.

"Hey," she said back as she reached the bottom of the stairs, wearing grey sweatpants and a red and white baseball shirt, and headed to the kitchen to get herself a cup of coffee.

"Is Robin up yet?"

"She woke me up because she needed to use the bathroom and didn't know which door was it," Erin smirked while pouring some coffee into a mug. She sat down next to him and refused to look him in the eyes. Yesterday she didn't want to tell him what Hailey was here about, even tho she was sure he had a pretty good idea, but then she instantly felt bad and decided she should tell him in the morning. She just didn't know how.

"So," she started "Hailey said that Jay asked for me and Robin to drop by today."

Hank put his paper down, leaned his elbows on the table and sighed "And you want my opinion on that? I have this feeling you won't listen to my advice anyways," he smirked.

Erin sighed and ran a hand through her hair "I just... I want to go see him, I want Robin to know him. But I don't think I want to be forced to face with the fact that he's moved on, has a kid and is probably with someone else..."

"For god's sake, Erin, why won't you listen to anyone? I wanted to talk to you about that last night and you wouldn't let me. I bet Hailey tried to as well, but I guess she didn't succeed. Look, yes, Jay has a kid, you can't change that. But her mom's not in the picture anymore, I can assure you that. Lily never got a chance to meet her mom. She... Something happened and it was all too much for her. She... Like I said, she's not around anymore," he stood up from the table, put his jacket on and opened the front door. "I'm gonna go to work. See you in the evening," he waved a hand at her and left.

Fine, okay, she thought. If everyone thinks she should do it, maybe she really should.
