Chapter 2

Dane had to go to the station for an bit, so it was just Pipsqueak and I. I put my clothes into the dresser and set my guitar against the wall.

I changed into some black skinny jeans and an old, ripped up black shirt with bleach stains. I wandered around the house to explore a bit.

I found that there was a third bedroom, but it's door was locked as well. Was it that he didn't trust me? I pouted and plopped onto the couch, Pip hopped up and set his massive head in my lap.

I turned on the TV and put on Steven Universe. I popped my paci in my mouth and snuggled with Pip until I fell asleep.

"Sweet boy, wake up," Dane gently shook me away and I groaned.

"Nuuu, I seeepyyy!" I turned over and nuzzled back into the couch.

"If you sleep too much, you'll never sleep tonight. Get up."

I poured, but slowly complied. I took my paci from where it had fallen on the couch. Dane shut off the TV and looked at me.

"What do you wanna do Ev?" He gently rubbed the sleep from my eyes.

I thought hard for a minute, then perked up, "Swimmy!!" I bounced up and down with excitement.

Dane laughed, "Okay, go get changed."

I ran off to my room and took off my Jeans and boxers, but I left on my shirt. I slipped on some black swim trunks with skulls on them. I ran back out to see Dane walk out of his room in just some loose black trunks. I admired his built chest, blushing. I wanted him to pick me up and cradle me. I also wanted him to do other stuff... But that was naughty.

"Let's go bud," Dane led me out to the backyard. He had a pretty big in-ground pool, I bounced excitedly and looked up at Dane for permission.

He smiled and pet my head, "Go."

I wasted no time and jumped in, it was to damn cold! "Holy shit! It's freezing!" I swam around to get used to the temperature.

I noticed Dane's eyebrow twitch slightly as he got in. I swam over to him and looked up at him. "Why do you have a nursery if you don't have a kid? And why is it all big size?" I raised an eyebrow at him. He couldn't be a daddy dom, it would just be too weird.

He looked down at me, "Don't act like you don't know." He smirked and leaned against the side of the pool. "I originally moved here with my little, but turns out he was cheating on me. I haven't had one for a while so it was just collecting dust. But now I have a reason to use it."

I blushed slightly and swam away. Stupid Dane, he had to know I've always had a crush on him. He was teasing me. I had liked him since he first arrested me 2 years ago.

We swam for a while until I got bored, so I got out and ran around with Pip.

Dane got out and draped a giant towel over me. "Go take a bath bud."

I pouted and dried off. I headed back inside, I would get him back for being such a dickhead.

I washed up really good and dried off, after my shower I slipped on some boxers and dug through my small drawer.

I tugged on some black pajama shorts and a black sweater. I was gonna tease the brute back.

I padded out to the kitchen where he was making dinner, I peeked and scrunched my nose. The steamed broccoli looked sad, and the chicken was overcooked. As long as it was better than the oatmeal I guess.

I sat at the table and waited patiently. Finally, he brought over the food, but there was only one plate. He set it in his plate and I raised an eyebrow at him.

He smiled down at me and set down a plate of carrot sticks and dino nuggets. I giggled, "Tankies Daney!"

"No problem bud," He smiled and sat down, we both began to ate.

He placed a sippy cup of fruit punch in front of me, he drank a beer. Beer tasted like piss, I didn't know how he could drink that crap.

I finished my food and chugged the rest of my juice. "Aww done!" I smiled up at Dane and bounced happily.

"Good job little one, why don't you get ready for bed while I clean up" I pouted, I didn't want to sleep.

I got up and went to my bathroom, I brushed my teeth and hair quickly. I got my pacifier and walked over to my crib. I tried to figure out how to get in, but I couldn't. I whimpered and popped my paci into my mouth, trying to figure it out.

"Hey, you're too little to do that, let me take care of it." I turned to see Dane walking over. I looked down, embarrassed.

He slid the side down and I crawled in, the mattress was insanely comfy. I wiggled to get comfy, Dane put a soft blanket and tucked me in.

I looked up at him with wide eyes, he smiled and got me an elephant stuffie from the bin. I smiled and snuggled the stuffie to my chest, I closed my eyes and sucked on my paci. He slid the side back up, locking me in.

"Goodnight buddy," Dane gently brushed my hair out of my face and walked out, shutting the door behind him.

I tossed and turned for a few hours, finally I began to slowly drift into sleep. Suddenly, I heard a loud crack of thunder. I jumped, I acted tough and badass around everyone, but I was deathly afraid of thunder.

I felt tears spring into my eyes, I shut them and tried to relax. I didn't want to bother Dane, he had done too much for me already.

There was another loud crack and flashes from lightening, I began sobbing. I wanted Dane-No, I needed him. I whined and pulled myself up out of the crib, landing right on my butt. The fall made me cry even more.

I clutched my elephant to my chest and ran to Dane's room. I hesitated for a moment, then slowly opened the door.

"Dane...?" I choked on my sobs as I slowly walked over. He was only in boxers, sleeping soundly.

I slowly crawled into bed with him and buried my face into his chest, there was more thunder, making me cry more. I felt him stir and sit up slightly.

"Ev? Are you okay??" He sat up and pulled me into his lap, rubbing my back.

I shook my head and there was another loud crack. "Daddy!" I clung to him tighter.
