Liz's POV
Corn & Kalyn have been on and off fighting for some time now.
Corn got so mad, she chucked a chair in Braden's face. He's now in care of a doctor for facial swelling.
Don't ask me why they're neck to neck fighting, I've been sleeping all day. I just found out, when Kalyn told me. She got slapped for that.
"You're the one who said I can't date Braden!" Corn huffed, slapping Kalyn with a brochure to some water-park. Kalyn stepped back, rubbing her cheek. "Liz better've not heard you."
"He is HER boyfriend." Cried Kalyn. "Can't you tell?"
I had to object. I climbed out of bed, a little wobbly.
"Kalyn, I am not dating Braden. I don't like him, okay?"
"Just because we're good friends, doesn't mean it's like that, okay? Corn, I don't care if you ask him out."
All this drama was filling my head and poisoning me. I honestly don't understand why I can't have a friend.
Corn was smiling. She grabbed a rose from one of my gift bouquets. She sniffed it, and chuckled.
"He loves me!" She smiled, "I can tell"
Honestly, Corn is psycho. I'm sorry, but Corl doesn't like anyone. He has always talks about how he never wants a girlfriend, because it'd stop him from "living his dream." In other words, no setbacks.
I don't want to see Corn cry. Or slap Kalyn again.
Her cheek is as red as a baboon's butt.
The nurse wheeled Corl in, hours later. He had a swollen, purple face.
"Well, he's in pain." She nodded, letting him get out of the wheelchair.
"Temporarily. Pain medicine should take over VERY soon..With that, the swelling should go down."
Corl sat down in a chair. He stared at Corn, scared.
Corn stepped over. He scooched over. "Liz.." He cried, staring at Corn with a frown.
"Stay away." He warned.
Corn pulled out the rose. "But I love you." She creepily smiled.
"Do you LOVE me?"
He smiled, fakely. "No, I actually don't like you at all."
He then smiled even bigger, while Corn made the expressions like she was shot in the heart.
Kalyn made a muffled chuckle.
Hours later, more tears, more chuckles, a nurse walked in.
"You are free to go."
Music to my ears? Heck ya! I hurried out the bed, and ran to the uber.
We drove down roads I'd never seen before. We drove down this one road, then, into the mouth of the city. The traffic was harsh, so we took a "back road."
It was a dirt road. The car bumped up, as we sped over rubble and rock. Corl was holding onto my shoulder as the car rolled down the hill, slowly, trying not to steer down into the lake below.
Once we were thrown onto that road, the car stopped. The car STOPPED.
In the forest.
---------------------------------------------
Kalyn was getting anxious, and Corl was trying to act brave. "Don't act brave, just don't." I whispered into his ear, while I had flashbacks of our standoff where I "died"
"Get out of the car. We can hike up into main roads," The driver said, opening all of the doors.
We all stepped out, huddling into a circle. "I think it's up-"
Kalyn stood, with a painful look on her face. She seemed like she couldn't move- at all.
Then, blood trickled out of her mouth. Corn stood behind, evily smiling with a weapon in her hand.
The driver chuckled, and corn looked over, patting her on the back. "Good job Vanessa."
Corn stroked the knife. "Love me Braden."
