"Are you done yet?" I tapped my foot impatiently.

"Yeah hold on, damn."

"Don't get smart with me Trey." I rolled my eyes and walked over to the full body mirror that stood in the corner of my room.

"Ok, finished." I saw him stand up from the corner of my eye. "Damn, I'm good."

"It took you a week to do this. Don't get cocky." I glared at him through the mirror. He stood there pretending to be shocked.

"What? Not I? I would never." He placed his hand over his heart.

"Shut up and take the damn thing to the car! Your wasting time!"

"Why are you so mean?" He mumbled after carefully hauling the heavy looking object over his shoulder. I looked at him with no expression.

"Fine."

"Wait, did you do what I asked you to do?"

"Yeah."

"Good." I smiled and proceeded to fix my makeup.

He thinks he's slick, running around with both of them. I said he's mine. No one can have him if I can't. It wouldn't be fair. I fought for this relationship. I was there when even that faggot brother of his wasn't. I won't let him go so easy and that's a promise.

Ayleo,

I finally got a tow truck to come get the car. As soon as they drove away, with it dragging behind, leaving a cloud of dust, I called some one to pick me up. I will admit that I was dumbfounded from what Mateo had said on the phone. I mean I was shook. He never really yelled at me before and I was kind of taken back, you know? Anyway I dialed up the number of the one person who I know lived around this area. Me and Zaya never really talk, but like I said, he lives in the area.

I pulled the phone up to my ear listening to the ringing noise until he picked up.

"Hey, did I wake you up?" I asked quietly, just in case.

"Naw, I woke up a while ago to meet up with Teo but he called and canceled. Do you know why?"

"He's probably still with that bitch made nigga." I rolled my eyes feeling the hot anger once again.

"Who?...Well never mind. It's not really my business, but what's up? Did you need something?"

"Actually, I was hoping you could drop me at my house. See, my car-"

"Where are you?" He interrupted.

I sighed in relief. "Um, I'm actually pretty close. I'm down by the Cub Foods. I'm on the back road heading towards Renzell's house."

"Ok I got it. I'm on my way." I heard shuffling in the back ground. I could tell he was getting up. "Give me 15 mins." There was more shuffling then he hung up.

I huffed in annoyance and discomfort. I feel hopeless, like I'm some damsel in distress. Men shouldn't have to feel like this.

I walked across the street where there was a street light. I stood under it to wait just to make sure he could see me, but not too long after I realized that I had to pee. I tried turning on my flash light but it didn't work. Just then, my phone died.

"Why!" I yelled.

Why is this stuff happening to me? As if it's not bad enough that I'm not worthy for love! This month is officially cursed.

Isaiah,

After he hung up, I dialed her number.

"Good news I hope. This cousin of yours is pissing me off." Her soft voice came out through gritted teeth.
