The Telepath

Back to School!

I woke up without the feeling of Lucas with me, i felt cold without his strong arms around me. I heard my mom getting ready and i got out of my bed and checked my phone.

"Good morning babe, cant wait to see you," I smiled and replied, "Good morning, i can't wait either, i missed you this morning," I set my phone down and went over to my closet. I picked out a pair of jeans and put on Lucas's oversized hoodie. I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and fix my hair. I was so tired today i didn't really care how i looked. I walked out and i saw Kitty sitting on my bed with my phone in her hands.

"KItty, what the hell are you doing in MY room, on MY bed, and on MY phone?" She chuckled and looked up at me, "Who's Lucas? Is he your boyfriend?" My face reddened and i nodded, "Wait, isn't he that really hot football player?" I grabbed my backpack and nodded to her again. She looked at me surprised and i snatched my phone from my hands. I also grabbed my headphones and a pack of gum, the necessities really. We heard a car honk but it wasn't the one we were used to. I looked out the window and saw Lucas's truck sitting in our driveway.

"What are you doing here?" I saw him smile, "I needed to see you again, i didn't want to wait until school," Kitty nudged me over and saw him as well, "Mom, James and I are getting a ride to school," She yelled at our mom, she yelled back an okay and we headed out of the house. When i closed the door i saw Kitty already in his truck and she was bombarding him with questions. He gave me a "help me" look and i laughed. I opened the door and yanked her out of the passenger's seat. She gasped and was about to hit my arm when we heard Lucas growl.

"Did he just growl?" She whispered in my ear, i nodded to her and she took a step back, she thought for a second, "Is he a werewolf?" Lucas's and my eyes widened and she asked the question. Her eyes opened with shock, but then she started smiling. I looked at Lucas and he sighed. I got in the truck and Kitty got in the back seat. I felt bad for revealing to Kitty that he was a werewolf but i snapped out of my trance when i felt his hand grip my knee.

"Don't feel bad, at least she didn't freak and ran to the cops or something," I always forget he can hear my thoughts and i sighed, "You know how i have telepathy and how i have a diamond form?" He nodded and i heard Kitty move around in the backseat, "Kitty, show him," She looked at me like i was crazy but nodded, we were still in our driveway so Lucas turned around and looked at Kitty. She fell through the truck and Lucas almost screamed. I laughed as he almost screamed again when she came up through the seat. She busted out laughing and Lucas looked beyond confused.

"I can phase through anything," He looked at her then looked back at the wheel, "Does your mom have any powers?" He asked me, i shook my head no and he nodded at me. He put the car in drive and pulled out of our driveway. He turned on the radio and i started singing along to whatever was on.

When we got to school and Kitty got out but before Lucas could i placed my hand on his thigh, "Are we gonna come out to the school?" He looked at me and his face softened, "Of course we are, i would hate to have to hide my feelings for you," I smiled and he leaned over and kissed my cheek. I got out and went to Lucas's side and we started walking towards the door. His hand grabbed mine and i felt him squeeze my hand. I smiled and walked in the door. To my surprise nobody really looked at us, they were too busy being stressed or just not caring. I remembered that Emma was back today and i pulled Lucas to where me and her meet. I saw her sitting with her headphones in and i let go of Lucas's hand and ran over to her. She looked up and stood, i crushed her into a hug and she started laughing.

"I missed you so much!" It was so nice seeing her again, "It's felt like forever since we've seen each other," She said through grunts because of my hug, "So what is the tea you have for me, i feel dehydrated," I laughed and i saw her look at Lucas and she whispered in my ear, "Why is he with you?" She looked at me with a motherly like glare and i remembered that i showed her what happened with him on Thursday. He looked up at her and stared at her, i felt the tension between them but quickly i grabbed Lucas's hand and he smiled at me.
