**I know i havent posted in a long ass time b/c ive been hella busy with school and have lost motivation for writing, but hopefully ill be back soon. This chapter was 21 pages long so i hope you enjoy!!**     

On the way back to Lucas's house we heard some ruckus in the bed of his truck. He looked over at me and i nodded. He pulled over and we both got out.

"I can't feel anyone back here, but there are some near us in the woods, i can't tell if they're hostile or not," It felt like something, or someone was blocking me out of their thoughts, "Can you count how many?" He said while looking through the bed searching for whatever made the ruckus, "I think about ten or fifteen," I still wasn't able to do anything to them besides just feel their presences, "I'm still not sure what caused that noise back here," He said while searching around and under his truck. I felt someone come closer and closer to Lucas but i couldn't see him. "Be careful, i feel someone really close to you," I got no response, i looked up and to where he was searching but he wasn't there, "Lucas?" I walked around to where he was and i didn't see him anywhere. I searched for his mind and i could feel it drifting into the woods. Whatever blocked me out from the other people was now blocking me out from Lucas. I started crying but made my diamond form appear. I needed to stay strong for Lucas. I was about 5 minutes away from his house but i didn't know how to drive. I didn't want to leave his truck here so i pulled out my phone and called Michael.

"James? What's up?" His voice was groggy, i probably woke him up, "Lucas was taken, i'm not entirely sure who but i'm in the middle of the road and i don't know how to drive," I heard him frantically getting up and i was able to hear Emma, "Emma says hi, but i'm on my way right now, were you able to see anyone? Or like do any of the mind jumbo shit you can do?" I heard the door close, "It's too dark to see anyone, and there was something or someone blocking me from being able to use my telepathy," I climbed back into the truck, "Okay, just sit tight, i'll be there soon," I ended the call and sighed. I had to try and stay calm because i knew that we could get him back. My eyes started watering and it became harder to control my breathing.

"Why hello there James," I heard a voice in my head, i looked around to see if anybody was near me but there wasn't anyone, then i remembered the voice, "Frank. What did you do with Lucas?" He was blocking his mind so i couldn't even look through his memories to see where he was, "Why don't you see for yourself?" I was confused then i heard my phone buzz. I looked at it and there was a video sent from an unknown number. My breathing got more erratic and my heart started racing. I pressed on the video and i saw Lucas, shirtless, with chains locking him up. They were torturing him, i tried to gather where he was from the room he was in but i couldn't make anything out of it. My eyes started watering and my phone dropped onto the floor. "What do you want?" I asked Frank, "Oh, i don't want anything, but you might know somebody who does," My phone started to ring, making me jump. I reached down with a shaky hand and turned it over. It was from the same unknown number, "Hello?" My voice quivered, "Hi James," I knew the voice, "Dan? What the fuck are you doing to my Lucas?" I heard him laugh "After you came home with Lucas i knew that we would have to do something, i didn't want you to be the reason your mom and i can't be together. You see, what you and Lucas have, is what your mother and i have. I was also able to tell Lucas was a wolf when i saw his eyes turn red for a second," My eyes widened at the fact that Dan was also a werewolf, and my mom was his mate, "Does she know that you're her mate? Have you told her yet?" I asked him, "Not yet, i was planning on waiting to tell her after she moves in with me but someone made her question if it was worth losing her relationship with her son just so she could be with me," I ended the call. I knew his motive for taking Lucas. I drove his mate away from him so he kidnapped mine. Even though he can still see and talk and continue a relationship with her, and he literally fucking kidnapped Lucas from me, i'm the bad guy. Okay fine, if he wants to play it like that, so be it.
