NIGHT ON EARTH WAS JUST as entrancing as the day, slowly easing Willow into some sort of peace as she milled about the area that the teenagers had situated themselves in. Every part of her was itching to go out into the woods and explore, see everything there was to see, but then was reminded of what Clarke asked of her.

A few people stood around a pile of wood and watched as one of them attempted to light a fire, the rest of them rubbing their arms to keep warm until then. It wasn't terribly cold, though the slight chill was something that most of them preferred to live without.

Sauntering over and crossing her arms as she gazed at the sight, she let a small smirk fall onto her lips with mild amusement. The boy who was trying to light the fire noticed her presence after a moment and glanced up at her with some irritation.

"Amused?" he questioned lightly, standing up from his crouched position and narrowing his eyes at her. Willow shrugged and paced around the pile of wood to the piece of bark covered in kindling with the stick he was rubbing that was now abandoned next to it.

"Only completely," she quipped, leaning down to his previous place and starting to rub the stick between her hands on her own. It didn't take her that long for sparks to catch the wood and kindling, and within a few minutes she had a roaring fire in front of her that was being added onto progressively with each passing moment.

The others that had been standing with the boy sniggered at him quietly, but he only glanced at Willow with intrigue and an impressed look. "How'd you know how to do that? Not like we actually made fires in Earth Skills," he commented, the others stepping closer in order to hear her response.

"Right you are. But I actually made fires when I was arrested for arson," Willow responded casually, her eyes drifting to the flames that she had created, the bright light flickering off of her brown irises.

"It was you! You're the one who set fire to the chancellor's office!" a girl that stood beside the boy exclaimed. Willow nodded.

"In the flesh," she confirmed, extending her arms and gesturing to herself while taking a slight curtsy in the process. Of course, when she had committed the crime, being known for what she had done hadn't crossed her mind, but it appeared as though the news about it had spread quickly.

"Setting the chancellor's office on fire, that's kind of extreme," another voice taunted from behind them. Willow turned around slowly to find the man that had escorted her into the dropship and sat beside her during the plummet to Earth.

"Pretending to be a guard, isn't that a little extreme? Though, I'm not sure if I could've pulled it off, Pretty Boy, so kudos to you," she fired back, taking a step closer to the man. He was clearly much older than all of the rest of them, and why he was even there against the Ark's wishes was still a complete mystery to her.
