Draco in Gryffindor

Winning the Battle

It was over. The war. The Dark Lord, Voldemort was dead. It definitely was difficult, but they did it. Turns out Umbridge was a death eater all along. She was working at Hogwarts undercover, like Snape, but only on Voldemort's side. 

After Dumbledore's death, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Draco had set off to search for Voldemort's Horcruxes. Having Draco as a best friend had it's advantages: Firstly, he had heard Voldemort and his father speak about the horcruxes before Hogwarts happened. He remembered almost everything that he had heard. (Hermione was surprised...) 

Secondly, Draco was a great person to go on adventures with. Apparently, he and his 'gang' used to climb the mountains that were around his Manor. Although it had stopped after he moved into the burrow (Draco wasn't complaining, life had been amazing with the Weasleys) he had carried all the supplies needed for their search. As if on instinct, before Dumbledore died, he had taken Harry to the Chamber of Secrets to collect basilisk fangs. He distinctively remembered You-Know-Who mentioning 'basilisk' and 'destroying horcruxes'.  He was pretty sure that the two were somehow related.

Together, the four searched for horcruxes. Thanks to Ron, they knew that Luna had been kidnapped by the Death Eaters, and decided not to go to her house. Hermione and Draco worked out the symbol they saw on the book that Dumbledore had bequeathed Hermione. 

The last and final Horcrux had been Nagini, and Neville killed her with the sword of Gryffindor. A brave feat.

"Now what?" Harry asked as he, Ginny, Ron, Luna, Neville, Hannah Abbot, Draco and Hermione looked at the rubble of bricks and corpses. Judging by the looks on the others' faces, Draco knew everyone had the same thought. 

Taking Hermione's hand in his, he said

"Now, We start afresh."

Yayy! Draco in Gryffindor is officially done. It took a long time to finish it and I am happy with the results. 

I am planning to write another story based on Disney's Descendants. It will be called Descendants: New Challenges. Please do read this and the new one that I will start later today.
