I wake Mia up early. She seems tired and groggy at first, but then she comes to. We pack up and head to the tall grass at the edge of the woods, near the cornucopia, staying low.

Then I see him. Talon is across the field in the woods. But before I can react, he runs across the field, grabs his pack, and then, out of nowhere, the boy from 2 appears, and him and Talon really fight.

Talon has a spear, the boy from two has a sword. They fight for a while, and then, to my amazement, Talon rams the spear through the Career boy's stomach. I'm ready to run up and hug him, but something happens that makes me freeze. The boy is not dead yet.

He raises his sword, and before Talon can react, the sword slits him through the neck, and something falls to the ground. I look and see that it's Talons head.

Talon collapses, and so does the district two boy, and two cannons sound. I have tears in my eyes as Mia and I walk up to grab our pack.

We're walking back, silent, when the girl from 6 comes out of the cornucopia, running towards us. I see she has no weapon, but she looks like she could rip us appart with her bare hands.

We run until we can't run anymore, and I look to my left, and there's the river. And the beaver dam. If she doesn't have any weapons, she can't get us if we're on there! I react quickly, grabbing Mia's arm and helping her onto the dam.

The girl from 6 comes up to us, and she tries to jump on, then stops. Since I'm from District 4, I'm most likely the only one here who knows how to swim. The river's flowing fast, too.

The girl decides not to jump, but she reaches for us instead. We sit on the back edge, where she can't get us. I'm still angry about Talon being be-headed, so I do something I would've never done before.

I reach behind Mia, and take the bow and arrows from behind her. I load an arrow, and start to shoot. I get her in the leg, which makes it hard to run. I shoot again, but miss.

But as she's running away, I shoot an arrow, which hits her in the back, causing her to collapse. I hit her again, for good measure. The cannon blows, and now it's just the final two girls on a dam.
