Lost Love

Part 1

He was watching a news channel. His name was all over the news today. 5 years, It had been 5 years and his life changed a lot. He remembered how his life changed from a struggling actor to a successful superstar. He memorized his hard times, living on streets, appearing for auditions. Yes, he had lived on streets sometimes, without proper food. A tear escaped his eyes. Now, people see him as a celebrity, a superstar, which he had always dreamed of. But Is he really happy after what he achieved?

'Raj!' someone placed a hand on his shoulder. He quickly wiped off his tears and bringing a smile on his face he turned to see her. 

'Nita! you are looking beautiful'

'Thank you.. Chale?'

'Haan chalo..' They walked hand in hand towards the party. 

Rajveer and Nita dated for 2 years and finally they decided to get married.. 

(Today they are getting engaged. Nita is the only daughter of the businessman Rakesh Adani.  There are numerous royal family members attending the engagement party.)

Soon they exchanged the rings and they were poured with good luck wishes.

Next day, they were all over the headlines of all newspapers. Rajveer and Nita flew to Canada as he was supposed to wrap up the last schedule of his upcoming movie before their wedding and Nita too joined him as she wanted to do their wedding shopping there. Next day, when Nita had asked Rajveer to accompany her for their wedding jewelry shopping,

'Nita! mujhe kya patha.. mujhe jewelry ke barein mein kuch nahi patha hai.. tum kuch bhi pehen lo.. achi hi dikhogi'

'Raj! mujhe aur kuch nahi sunna hai.. main already akeli clothes shopping kar chuki hun.. ab jewelry shopping bhi main akeli nahi karungi'

'Theek hai, theek hai.. main aunga.. batao.. kahaa aana hai mujhe?'

Nita told him the address of the finest jewelry store, the one stop destination for brides. Rajveer reached the store wrapping up the shoot for the day. When Rajveer stepped in the store he was warmly welcomed as few of the Indians working as staff in the store knew him as a celebrity. Nita smiled as soon as her eyes fell on him. One of the girl in the store was showing her designs. Nita showed him the designs which she had already selected.

'ye kaisa hai?'

'Good..'

'aur ye?'

'This is also good..' Nita looked at him with disappointment. 

'kya hua Nita?'

'kuch nahi..'

On the other end, store manager was yelling at a girl in low voice.

'Naina kahaa hai? abhi tak aayi kyun nahi?'

'Sir, aate hogi.. maine use call kar chuki hun..'

'phir se call kar.. pucho kahaa hai vo.. patha nahi unn latest designs ki copy kahaa rakhi hai.. '

'Sir, call nahi lag rahi hai'.  Manager glared at her angrily.

'mujhe inn mein se kuch bhi acha nahi laga' Nita was hell disappointed with the designs and with a sad face she looked at Rajveer.

'Its okay, hum kahin aur dekhte hai'.  Rajveer assured her.

'Sir, please wait for 5 minutes. Humare paas aur bhi latest designs hai, hum dikhayenge'

Manager was frustrated at Naina as she did not turn up on time and he was loosing the clients because of her, that too big clients like Rajveer and Nita. It was the matter of store's reputation too.

'jab se yahaan aayi hun, tab se yahi baat keh raha hai ye'. Nita chuckled and Rajveer too smiled. Though the manager tried to be cool in front of them, they observed that the manager was getting hyper at the store staff and they decided to leave rather than sit there and watch the drama. When they were about to leave they were stopped by someone.

'Maam.. ek minute'

They turned towards her. She was breathing heavily out of so much running, a scarf covered her head and half of her face. 

'I am sorry Maam for keeping you waiting' Naina pulled the design copies in front of her. Naina stepped back and drank a glass of water to calm herself down. Naina was in such a hurry that she had not realized who her clients were.

Nita smiled as she went through the latest designs. Naina shifted her eyes towards him as she felt his constant gaze on her. Looked like he was rooted to the spot as soon as he saw her. And when Naina saw him, a shiver ran down her spine.
