He had followed inside and he waited and watched her putting her baby to sleep. He frowned at the sight, he was confused, a lot of questions running through his mind. Naina placed her baby in the cradle and turned back to see him rooted at the spot. Naina walked back towards him.
'kyun aaye ho tum yahaa?'
'tum?.. tum?? Canada mein kya kar rahe ho Naina??.. aur ye baccha?', he looked away for a moment and looking back at her again he asked, 'vo kahaa hai??... aur tum iss choti se jagah mein kyun reh rahi ho'
'hogaya? ya kuch aur puchne hai'
Rajveer looked at her, his brows furrowed, 'Naina main..', he took a step forward towards her.
'paas mat aana', she warned him pointing her index finger at him. He stopped and was shocked at her sudden raise in voice.
'main kuch din ke liye akeli rehna chahti thi, isiliye main yahaa aayi.. mil gayi na jawab.. ab tum jao'
Rajveer was staring at her, 'tum uss jewelry store mein kaam kyun kar rahi ho? '
'kyun? main wahaan kaam nahi kar sakti?'
'kar sakti ho, lekin the famous, the richest Amardeep Singh ki girl friend ko ek store mein kaam karte huye dekh kar mujhe ajeeb laga', Rajveer taunted. Seeing tears brimming her eyes, he realized what he just said.

I know tum kya kehna chahte ho.. par Naina.. tumhare friends ki zindagi aur humari zindagi alag hai.. mere kuch sapne hai.. main uske aage kuch nahi aane dunga.. shaadi ek zimmedari hai.. main pehle apni career par zyada focus kar raha hun.. iss waqt ek aur zimmedari nibha nahi paunga.. mujhe kuch waqt chahiye Naina...'
Naina listened to him silently. He pulled her closer and said, 'naraaz ho mujhse?'
Naina looked up at him instantly and said, 'nahi, bus ye soch rahi hun ki tumhare saare sapne jaldi se pura ho jaye, aur phir humari shaadi hojaye aur phir humare bacche..', she stopped realizing what she was about to say and blushed.
'hmm.. lagta hai tumhe bacche bahut pasand hai.. waise tumhe pata hai.. shaadi ke bina bhi bacche ho sakte hai', he winked at her.
'Shut up', She hit his chest playfully.

'I can't believe this'. Rajveer was holding an envelope and was staring at it. It was an envelope that mentioned Rajveer was selected for one of the lead role in RS Production's next.
When he had told her about it, Naina too was happy for him but it was that day when he saw something different in her eyes. What was that? was she jealous of his success? was she regretting her career decisions? was she feeling insecure. They had planned to go out for a dinner. When they stepped into the restaurant, a random girl recognized him and she almost screamed in excitement, 'Rajveer Singh!'

'arey! wahi.. the next lead in RS productions movie. I saw his photo in a magazine today'

Soon, the girls in the restaurant immediately clouded him and started taking pics along with him. Naina stepped back as she saw how girls were going crazy for him and as one of the girls almost pushed her away. When Rajveer turned back and saw her, she was lost in her own thoughts. He smiled at her.
