'She is seeing someone else'
'WHAT???', Aditya was staring at Raj, obviously shocked at what he just heard. For a moment Aditya felt that Raj was just joking, but looking at Raj's face and when Raj confirmed again by nodding his head, Aditya felt that it was rather something serious, or could be a mere misunderstanding.
'Raj, tum jante ho na? tum Naina ke barein mein baat kar rahe ho', said Aditya, to clarify again.
'Do I have to show you the proofs to prove that ugly truth', Raj yelled at the top of his lungs, he had been struggling within himself thinking about it from a long time. He had been observing those changes in her. In the past few days, he had been busy with his schedule and always came home late at night. In those few days, he hardly saw her face, because she stopped waiting for him and slept before he came. He never disturbed her and would go and sleep on the other side of the bed. But that day, he was emotionally disturbed and as usual reached home late at night and saw her sleeping. He laid down on the bed, her back was towards him and he hugged her from behind. He smelled alcohol, more than that, he smelled the fragrance of men's perfume. He had been very much disturbed from that day.
'Adi, Can you do me a favor?'
'What?'
'Can you find out whom she is meeting?'
Aditya stood there dumbstruck. 'you want me to spy on her? No, I don't', Aditya replied curtly.
'Adi, please.. I am busy with my shooting schedule, I can't take time out of it to keep an eye on her'
Aditya felt like slapping him hard on his face but he controlled himself and said, 'Raj, will you please stop this'
'Adi.. please.. understand..', Raj caught his head in his hands with frustration. Aditya stared at him for few seconds and seeing him and how frustrated he looked, Aditya decided to help his friend though halfheartedly.
'Ok Raj, I will do it' Raj sighed in relief.
For few days, Aditya followed Naina, he tried everything to find out whom she was meeting. But he could not get any information. When he told Raj about that, Raj looked unconvinced.
One day, Raj's female costar decided to have a party at his house. He never told her that he lived with Naina. He reluctantly messaged Naina and asked her to stay at her friend's place that night. By the time he reached home, she left. His house looked different all together, it looked the same way when Naina was not in his life.
Next day, he tried reaching her on her mobile, multiple times. But all his calls went unanswered. He along with Aditya went to meet her at the sets of her shooting. When Aditya asked a worker about her, staring at them weirdly, that person pointed towards a room upstairs.
'Raj, tu ruk, main jaake milta hun Naina se, after what you have done Naina tumse naraz hogi'
'what have I done? maine socha vo samjhegi', Raj exclaimed.
'whatever, you stay here, I will go and meet her', Aditya walked towards the room.
After few minutes, Raj saw Aditya coming back and his face had a hard expression. 'kya hua? Naina se nahi mila?'
'Naina, nahi hai, yahaa.. chalo chalte hai yahaa se'
Raj stopped him by his hand, 'nahi hai? par abhi uss admi ne bola tha na Naina uss room mein hai'
'Raj, Naina nahi hai.. vo kuch aur hai.. chalo.. hum chalte hai'
Raj stared at his friend for few seconds and by seeing his face anyone could make out that he was lying. Raj marched towards the room as Aditya tried to stop him.
'Raj, No..'
But it was too late as Raj opened the door of the room to witness something not less than a nightmare for him. He saw her in another man's arms, semi naked and that man was kissing her all over her body. It was all evident that they were drunk and were heedless to the presence of Raj and Aditya in the same room.

Present,
He brought the car to a screeching halt, unable to handle his own emotions, he cried out loud. That image of her with another man had burned into his mind and still haunted him even after 5 years. He loved her more than anything, more than anything? he questioned himself. No, he had given more importance to his career than her. That could be the reason she left him, he thought. Few times he blamed himself and he never found answer for was it totally his fault?
