Chapter 2

school ended and I walked to the front of the school. I remembered that my mom would pick me up but I have to go to Felix's house for the project in Physics. i call my mom "hi mom" "hi (Y/N) I'm almost at your school" "actually I have to do a project and someone's house so don't pick me up" "ok who is it" "His name is Felix" "oh so it's a boy?" "yes" "ok" she says and I hang up. Then I see Felix walk towards me and he waves goodbye to his friends his friends laugh at me and Felix doesn't do anything he says "hi (Y/N) let's go" he walks over to a red sports car that was probably very expensive. "you drive????" i ask shocked. "yeah obviously only nerds ask their parents to drive them to and back from school" Felix says as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. I open the door and sit down. His car is clean and I like it it is very cool.. he goes in and sits down too. Then he starts the car and we drive. There is an awkward silence so he says "I have an aux cord put anything lit maybe some Drake or Lil Pump" "w-what?" i ask and he says it again "Put on something lit" He points at the aux cord and my hand shakes as I grab it and plug it into my phone. I don't listen to rap music and I know he will not like my music if I play it so I lie "sorry my phone just died" I say. "no it didnt it's turned on right now" he says and I realize I am stupid. I press shuffle on my music and hope something not embarrassing plays. Just then.... welcome to the black parade by My chemical romance plays. the g note overwhelms me and the first lyrics make a quivering tear fall down my cheek.

"Uh ok" Felix says. "anyways we're here" he stops his car and we go inside his house. We are greeted by his dad "hi Felix is this your friend" he asks. Felix says "no we just have to do a project" "ok" his dad says. "don't do anything too crazy kids" and Felix rolls his eyes. We go to Felix's room and I ask "where is your mom" "she died when I was 4" he says "OMG I-I'm so sorry Felix I didn't know" "save it it's fine i get it all the time" He pulls out his laptop from his backpack and I sit down on his bed "ok so we have to calculate the diameter of a planet first" I say and he nods he starts typing but suddenly his phone starts ringing "You should get that" I say and he says "hello" I cant hear what the person on the other line is saying so all I hear is Felix "......what......no........no I'm busy........ I told you I'm busy....... Don't come over........No don't" he hangs up. "Is everything ok" I ask "no nerd" Felix says and someone knocks on the door. If it was the person who called Felix then they must have ran here because that was fast... I feel my eyes start to water as he calls me a name and he goes get the door I hear "hiiiii Feliiiix" It's Allison. "Please go I'm busy Allison" Felix says and I hear their footsteps coming closer. They open the door and Allison sees me "ew what is SHE doing here?????" she asks and Felix says "a project. Now get out" "I'm just here to get my shirt that I left here last week that's all Felix" Allison says and I think I can't take it anymore.. I run out of the room and out of Felix's house I run all the way home which I am surprised I remember the way home since I'm still new here. I run inside my house and my mom is surprised to see me. "(Y/N) I thought you had a project with the Felix boy" she says and I ignore her. I run upstairs as tears stream down my face. I go to the bathroom and begin to cut myself it doesnt hurt a lot i'm used to it by now. I cut myself a lot but it's ok because no one notices not even my mom. When I'm done I clean up the mess on the floor and go back to my bedroom I lay down and look at the ceiling.. I grab my phone and earbuds and put them in and immediately a song starts to play it's a song i really like. then I cry myself to sleep hoping that everything will be better tomorrow.
