Chapter 4

Levy P.O.V

As we arrived where I left Lily, we were met with nothing but debris. "Lily!" I called. There was silence and I started to panic. "Lily!!" I flew around trying to find him.

I found him on the ground, out cold. He was back in his small exceed form. I picked him up and held him close. He was badly hurt but it wasn't life threatening.

"It looks like they got away." Mira said as she knelt beside me. "I'm gonna get Lily back to the guild, will you guys be alright?" Mira nodded, so I shot through the forest. As I reached the guild I went straight to the infirmary window and climbed in.

After patching Lily up I left him to rest. I climbed down the stairs to the main hall. I sat at a far table and watched everyone. Natsu had made it back and was arguing with Grey, Juvia was trying to have a conversation with Gajeel and they were waving their arms around.

I giggled and made my way to them. "I don't understand a damn word your saying!" Gajeel was yelling at her. "Juvia doesn't understand!" She cried at me. Gajeel looked up at me,"Hows that exceed?"

I rolled my eyes." That 'exceed's name is Lily. He was beaten up pretty good but he will be fine with some rest. Erza and Mira are going to scout the area before coming back." I said the same to Juvia.

"Now what are you two trying to talk about?" "Juvia was just trying to introduce herself..." She looked down with a sad face. I smiled softy before turning to Gajeel.

"Gajeel this is Juvia. She was just trying to introduce herself and be friendly." He just grunted. I frowned and kicked him under the table. He glared at me. "Juvia his name is Gajeel." Juvia stretched out her hand. When Gajeel just looked at it I stepped on his foot. He grumbled but took he hand.

I smiled and pat his head."Good dragon." He growled. "Tomorrow I will start teaching you the language."

He nodded. After awhile Erza and Mira came back, having not caught up to the mages.

Gajeel P.O.V

It had been a long day. I was sitting out in a tree after the sun had set. Many of the members were already asleep inside and it was just too crowded for my taste.

The doors opened and I looked down. A cloaked figure made it's way out, being as quiet as possible. The smell of ink made it's way to me. 'Shrimp?'

She hurried through the woods and I decided to follow her. But I couldn't do anything when she flew up the stone walls and I couldn't reach the tree tops.

I decided to sit and wait. Hours had gone by and she never came back. I felt myself start to get nervous. Wait nervous? She can take care of herself, she's fine. The sky was starting to turn pink when she finally came back. She looked exhausted as she made her way back to the guild. Again I followed her.

Instead of going inside she flew to the top of the guild where trees covered it. She curled up in what looked like a little nest and was soon asleep.

What an odd girl.
