Chapter 3

Levy P.O.V

I was down in the guilds main hall reading after speaking with Gajeel. After about thirty minutes he and Natsu walked down the stairs. He was now wearing dark tan pants and a black vest that was trimmed in grey. He also wore a black cloak that had black feathers on the shoulders.

Natsu lead him over to me. "Levy I have a job, mind keeping an eye on him?" I nodded. "Sure thing!"I smiled up at them. Gajeel crossed his arms and huffed. "Stay here with her." Gajeel grumbled but sat heavily on the bench next to me.

I smiled at him but he just huffed. We sat in a rather uncomfortable silence. Thankfully Mira chose that moment to bring me my lunch. "Your the best Mira."I smiled. "Do you want anything?"she looked at Gajeel. He raised his eyebrow, not understanding.

"Do you want something to eat?"I translated. He shook his head and Mira left. He stared at my food as I ate."What?" "What is that?"he pointed.

"It's shrimp."i said it once in dragon then english. He thought for a moment before snickering. "What?" "Shrimp... It's tiny just like you!" I huffed and puffed out my cheeks in frustration. "Jerk." I muttered.

Though he denied good from Mira he picked off my plate while I ate. I eventually have up and had Mira get me another plate. "Oh Levy. Would you mind doing a little bit of shopping for me? I'm waiting for someone."

I grinned impishly."Laxus maybe?"She flushed."What? Pfft no..." I giggled and grabbed the shopping list she had."Sure."I quickly finished eating."Do you want to come in to town with me?" I looked at Gajeel. He shrugged and I rolled my eyes. "If you are then come on."

I headed out the doors, not bothering to see if he was following. As I was about to enter the woods a large figure landed in front of me."Lily!" I smiled and hugged the transformed exceed.

He laughed"Hello Levy. Who's that?" he pointed behind me. I turned to see Gajeel had indeed followed me. "He is Gajeel. A dragon like Natsu."

Lily walked up to him and held out his large hand."Pantherlily. But you can just call me Lily." "Lily he doesn't understand you." He repeated in dragon and after a moment Gajeel shook his hand. Pantherlily had been with me since I was small and he helped me learn most languages I knew.

"Where are you two headed?" "Town. Mira needs some shopping done." He nodded as I lifted into the air. "Be careful." I nodded and waited for Gajeel who just stood there. "Well?"

He kicked his foot a little." I don't know how to fly on human form."He muttered. I looked down at him sadly then smiled." Well Natsu is just gonna have to teach you when he gets back. Lily?"

The exceed nodded and grabbed Gajeel under the arms, startling him. With Lilys help we headed to town.

Gajeel P.O.V

Being carried by that exceed was humiliating, but I did miss the mind in my face. I just wanted to sore through the air like I was doing only days ago.

We landed a ways from town and Lily set me down. The small blunette flew up to me and pulled up my hood to hide my horns. I grumbled but left it.

She landed and adjusted her blue cloak to hide her rainbow wings. "Come on Lily." She held her arms out to him. In a poof of smoke he was now tiny and, dare I say it, cute. He hopped into her arms and we walked down the busy streets.

I stayed close to the girl, feeling very uncomfortable. I had never been around so many people and the language was just flying over my head. After several stops she looked up at me"You ok?"

I huffed."Im fine." She sighed and went back to her list. She smiled a little. "Your completely lost arnt you?" I just grunted. "I can teach you the language you know. It's not that hard."

I shrugged"Sure Shrimp why not?" she groaned."My name is Levy..." she grumbled. We walked around for awhile longer before head towards the woods. Lily lept out of her arms and transformed again.

"We need to leave."He said. I was about to ask him what he was talking about when I felt it. A strong magic was coming from behind us. I turned to se several cloaked figures.

The Shrimp was shaking as she hid behind Lily. "Who're they?" I asked. "They are Zerefs minions..." She whispered. Why did that name sound familiar?

"Dragon take Levy and go.Without knowing how to use your powers your useless here." I growled at him.

But he was right.

I snatched up the small fairy and took off as fast as I could through the woods. She guided me back towards the guild but then she made me stop."What?"

She pointed down and I saw I nearly fell from a hidden cliff. I quickly backed away."Now what?"

"Your to heavy for me to carry down... Maybe..." She got out of my arms. She shouted something, throwing her hands out. A word materialized out of the air and made stairs that disappeared into the trees. I ran down them with her flying close behind.

She flew ahead of me once we reached the ground and the word disappeared. She burst through the guild doors. "Mirajane! Erza!" she called. The bar maid and a woman in armor ran towards her. She quickly said something to them and the three left.

Without her or the salamander here there was nothing I could do.
