Scootaloo's Birthday - Chapter 18

(Rainbow's POV)

I baked all of the brownies needed to be made, I had invited everypony I know, because I want everypony to know that I, Rainbow Dash, is Scootaloo's older sister.

"I still cannot believe what an amazin' person ya are." Applejack said as she kissed me.

I blushed, "It's nothing big."

"Correct, it ain't somethin' big, it's somethin' huge." Applejack smiled. I saw that coming, but I love her cute comebacks.

"I guess so, I just hope she's happy." I looked outside of Sugar Cube Corner, where I was holding her party, Pinkie decided it would be way more fun for it to be a surprise, so that's exactly what I am making it. Applebloom and Sweetie belle are bringing her here, they are both in on it. it took Applejack and Rarity a lot of treat bribing to make sure they don't say a single word.

"She's goin' to be the happiest, sugar cube. I just know it." Applejack looked at her marefriend.

"I bet this is going to be one of the greatest moments of my life!" I said. Applejack looked at me with the "how-dare-you" look.

"Of course after meeting you, because that was the greatest." I smiled at her.

"I was jokin', Dash." Applejack laughed, "But thank ya, and I love ya."

"No sappy stuff. But I love you, too." I rolled my eyes at the beginning. Pinkie Pie ran in and whispered to us that she was coming with Applebloom and Sweetie Belle, I was soon going to have a little sister.

"Okay! Everypony, get ready!!" I whisper-shouted to everypony in the room. We watched the door, I didn't even blink, I was just so excited!! it slowly began to open and I heard the voice of Scootaloo.

"Why's it so dark in here?" That's when I flipped on the lights and everypony screamed,

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SCOOTALOO!!!"

I had never seen her smile so widely and happily, she looked so gosh darn happy.

"I have a birthday checklist prepared for you, Scootaloo. From the most incredible extraordinary presents, al the way down to the also extraordinary cake, prepared by the amazing cake baking genius, Pinkie Pie, along with the décor she did. but it was Rainbow Dash who planned the entire thing." Twilight said as she walked to Scootaloo. Scootaloo looked at me.

"Thank you, Rainbow Dash!" She smiled so brightly, it lit up the whole room.

"It was nothing, Scoots. But I have something for you." I walked to the middle of the room, everypony surrounded us. Scootaloo looked at me.

"I recently found out I was adopted, and I have great parents. That got me thinking about you. You don't. You never had parents, and it kills me to think a little filly like you goes home everyday, and has nopony. I thought, "Scootaloo is just as awesome as I am, and my parents missed out on this awesome glory." So, I talked to them about something. They agreed to my idea, so Scoots, meet Fire Fly and Lighting Boom, your new mom and dad, and meet me, Rainbow Dash, your new sister."

My mom and dad walked in with a few papers, most likely paperwork to prove to Scootaloo this wasn't a joke. They smiled at Scootaloo.

I looked over at AJ, "Whose the sappy one now, RD?" She joked with me.

"Oh my Celestia, shut up." I shoved her.

I looked back and Scootaloo was hugging my parents. I smiled. I guess I can do something that is worth something to somepony.

(Applejack's POV)

After the party, Dash and I went back to Sweet Apple Acres.

"Dash?" I looked at her as we walked. I was going to tell her some things I bet she wasn't expecting anypony to ever tell her in her entire lifetime.

"Yeah?" She looked at me. I took a breath.

"I'm beyond proud of ya, I have never been prouder than anypony in my entire life. Ya took lil Scoots in, when ya didn't have to. Ya are amazin' for doin' that, ya hear? I want ya to know I love ya with all of my heart, and I could have never asked for anypony better than ya, because there is nopony that could reach ya level of beauty, loyalty, cleverness, kindness, and everythin' above. I love ya, Rainbow Dash, I will always love ya, and I will always be proud of ya, I will always believe in ya." I smiled at her.

I never have ever in my life seen her get so emotionally happy.

She cried and hugged me almost as tight as Pinkie's hugs.

"I love you, too, Applejack.. more than you know.." She cried. I held her close to me.

She was just the mare of my dreams.
