Why Aren't You Talking? - Chapter 19

(Applejack's POV)

Rainbow has been acting a little off lately. I don't know what has been going through her mind because no matter what I say or do, she will not talk to me. She hasn't bee talking to nopony. Not even her family, I even asked Scootaloo and she hasn't heard a word come out of her mouth.

I was walking down to Sugar Cube Corner to meet up with Rarity and Pinkie Pie to decorate Big Mac and Fluttershy's engagement party. (sorry if u don't ship FlutterMac) I looked into the sky and saw my beautiful Dashie kicking clouds out of the sky letting the warming sun fall onto the grounds of the small town of Ponyville. Her magenta eyes shimmered as she worked hard. Even thought she was so lazy, she never gave up on what she did in the sky, the sky was her home and her.. freedom.

Freedom.

What was she trying to get away from? Home? Wonderbolt Academy? Us? Me?

"Dash!" I called up to her, she looked down and smiled at me, she waved her hoof and got back to work. if she were avoiding me, she wouldn't have waved, I know that for a fact. If Dash was ever ignoring you she would for sure pretend you aren't even a pony living on this planet.

I sighed, knowing she wouldn't come down. I knew something was wrong with that pony.

Something was terribly wrong.

(Rainbow Dash's POV)

I finished clearing the sky and quickly raced home to get ready for my school day at the Wonderbolt Academy. I had been let off for a little while because of my injured wing, but since now it is better than ever, I can go back to the school and keep on learning and trying to get to be a Wonderbolt.

For my adoptive mom. I was going to do it for her still, even though she wasn't my real mom, she treated me like I was her real daughter and that she truly loved me. My real parents nowadays are ignoring me, they are paying so much attention to Scootaloo, they have forgotten completely about me. I guess if they can forget me so easily, so can everypony else, so I have been keeping a low profile, making no contact whatsoever with anypony except for smiles and waves.

I was going to talk to my friends at the Wonderbolt Academy because they didn't know about anything that has happened in my life recently, and they didn't need to know because of Spit Fire, who was such a gossip and rumor spreading. She especially loved spreading around rumors mainly about me and my friends and how I didn't deserve to be the element of loyalty, and blah blah blah. But I had some friends there, like  Lighting Dust. Lighting Dust and I have became friends again even after what she did to me on the first couple weeks of being a Wonderbolt. Everypony deserves second chances.

I had gathered up my backpack, and quickly slid n my uniform. My googles securely on the top of my head. A bit of my orange part of my rainbow mane stuck out, but it was going to be way to much of a hassle for me to tuck it back in myself. I started to walk out the door when I bumped into somepony. I looked up to see Applejack.

"Dash? Why aren't ya talkin' to me?"

I stared at her blankly.

How do I explain this?

so I may not be giving a chapter out tmrw bc I am going to the beach with my bestie to swim and do beach stuff.

and today I made it on the speech and debate team :DD

I felt so happy because me and all of my friends that tried out got in too!

and my mom was really happy for meh and I was shocked overall because she has never been that happy about something school wise that I have done and it just put me in an awesome mood. then I watched some mlp but whatever.
