"Hey," you said looking into his eyes, "if he wants to leave us, then let him."
His eyes were half closed, full of love, and full of tears. He stared into your eyes, wanting to hug you.
He leaned towards you and pulled you in for an embrace. You felt his body silently sob against you.
"Come here," you said, getting up and walking to the bed, "come lay with me."
He followed and you both layed down so that you could hold him. He loves when you hold him with his head against your chest.
"Everything's gonna be alright," you whispered to him softly, "everything's gonna be alright."
