As I'm trying to show Jughead around, I also can't stop staring at him. I mean come on! He's a fricken miracle. But anyway. As I was showing him around, someone showed up- Archie Andrews.

"Hey betts" ew.

"Don't call me that" I growled in return to the nickname. He was disgusting.

"What are you doing walking around with a lowlife like this guy instead of being with me?" He snapped, ignoring my statement.

I look over at Jughead while he just rolls his eyes in return. "She's giving me the tour. Not quite sure if it passed through that intelligent mind of yours, but, I'm new." He said flatly with as much sarcasm laced behind it as possible.

"Whatever Betty, your fucking loss." Archie yet again snapped before walking off. I dug my nails into my palms, hard. Not realizing until I hear Jughead release a staggered breath.

{Jughead}

I looked away from that dumb ass jock, only to see Betty's hand dripping with blood. I didn't know what to do. shit. The only thing I could muster was a stuttered breath, grabbing her attention.

"...Betty?" I whispered, not even hearing myself clearly. What the hell is happening. Shit... she's crying. "Fuck." I mumbled.

"Betty." This time I say it as a statement.

She quickly started to shake her head "it's nothing Jughead don't worr-"

But I quickly cut her off. "Don't tell me it's nothing Betty!"
My tone caused her to flinch back.

"You don't need to tell me anything, okay? But I'm not going to fucking stand here and let you walk off without helping you Betty! I get that we don't know anything about each other but that doesn't stop me from caring about you."

She slowly nodded, each tear that ran town her cheek made my heart break further and further apart, and I have no  clue why. Right? Yea. Of course.

"Okay." She said, barely audible. "I will tell you what happened, just not right now. And most definitely not right here."

Before she walked away she handed me a slip of paper. Betty Coopers address. Welp, I'm screwed.
