Y/n has left out to work as I hold our 4 year old son Kaden as he sleeps next on me after our fun day we had today as I knew it the front door open and Our 15 year old daughter Jezebel walked in as I heard her sniffling

As she quickly went into her room closing the door. I was worried as I gently laid down Kaden as I got up and locked the door before going upstairs as I quietly walked to her door

I heard sniffling as I knocked lightly

"I-I don't want to talk right now Dad!"I heard as the crying seemed to get harder

"I'm coming in Jezebel I'm worried about you"I said before coming in as I seen her on the bed hiding her face with the pillow as I heard sniffling

I frowned as I sat next to her on the bed and gently rubbed her back trying to calm her tears even more

"What's wrong princess?"I asked gently

"It's nothing dad you wouldn't understand"She said sitting up next to me as she laid her head on my shoulder as she wiped her eyes as I grabbed some tissue and started to wipe her eyes for her

"Why don't you tell me I might understand"I said with a kind smile as she lightly grinned

"Alright So–My now Ex best friend Valarie is dating the boy I liked and she knew I liked him and I told her that and she is dating him and just rubbing it in my face"She said as the tears started falling again as I wiped them away

"You know the same thing happened with me and your mom when we were young, my Ex-Best Friend dated her but she didn't even like him she just didn't want him to keep bothering her"I said as she laughed

"I noticed Valerie really did bother him all the time"She said

"And plus she really liked me and I knew it cause she'd always smile at me"I said

"He does the same to me too"She said with a smile

"Well we know who he really likes"I said as she laughed

I loved making her happy
