|Edwin| Fighting For It

I lay in the same hospital bed I've been laying in for the past 9 months. I'm sick and also pregnant and this baby can come whenever it's ready and I'm ready to accept any consequence that comes along with it.

—Flashback—
-5 months ago-

I laid in my bed as Edwin sat next to me holding my head just making me smile and laugh just trying to take my mind off all the things that have happened.

Just then the doctor comes in as my heart sped up as the doctor had a somewhat sad face as she came over standing in front of the bed.

"So Mrs.Honoret you are pregnant and well we have to tell you something"She said

"What is it Doctor Song?"Edwin asked knowing at the moment I couldn't talk

"Well if Y/n has this baby—Right after Y/n's body will shut down and she will die"She said

"Oh my god N-No"Edwin said as his eyes started to swell up with tears as mine did too

"With this New illness it drains all the energy From your body and we have no way to cure it I'm so very sorry—You can have an abo–"

—Flashback Over—

I didn't care that I would die if it meant saving her life. I can't just be selfish and just kill her and have her not even have a chance at life.

I'll always be there with her when she's fighting for anything I'm fighting along with her in spirit. The doctors said she'd be healthy and my sickness wouldn't affect her.

"I love you so much you know that"Edwin said as he kissed me lightly as I kissed back with a slightly weak smile

"Of course I do, you've told me that when we were kids and didn't even know what Love was"I said as we laughed lightly

I felt a slight pain as I felt the bed get wet as I groaned

"The Baby is coming"I said as Edwin's eyes started to fill with tears before he left to get the doctor

I was ready for this. It was no turning back now.

-Hours Later-

I was sweating as I started pushing out the baby as I felt my energy starting to drain quickly as I kept my composure.

"Breathe ok Breathe you're going amazing"The doctor said

"You got this"Edwin said crying as he kissed my head and held my hand as I squeezed his

"Ok the baby is almost out two more big pushes"She said

"Alright 1..2..3 PUSH!"

I started pushing as I started to feel relief as I started to feel my body getting ready to shut down as I kept holding my composure.

I think Edwin started noticing after my grip started getting weaker as he kept whispering that he loved me

"Last push come on"She said

I pushed my hardest as I then heard crying as my body went limp and my eyes closed as I heard Edwin yelling and crying till I heard it no more

I was watching it all happen as I stood outside my body as I seen him holding my hand kissing my head crying.

"Please come back to me, I need you"He said

I'm not dead?

"Come on Baby, it's been 3 months they said your sickness has left your body and our babygirl she's so beautiful and she's healthy and happy we just need you back come on please"He said sniffling
