1 week later

'See you in two hours then xx'

Jade smiled. She'd finally see Perrie again after a week. It was weird not seeing her every two days. She really missed her.

Jade had to admit though, that Perrie has been flirting less over text. Maybe Perrie was just busy or not in the mood, Jade thought. But she kind of shut herself out completely. The brunette wanted to know why so desperately, because she was afraid that Perrie is slowly getting tired of Jade.

If she only knew that so wasn't the case.

Perrie talked about Jade all the time the past week. Jonnie even had to make her shut up once, because she was too nervous about this weekend. "I've never seen you like this before.", he laughed and she hit him playfully.

"Stop it! This is important, alright? I want her to like me. Like as a person.", Perrie explained. "What if she doesn't like me? Maybe she'll end our little thing as soon as she gets to know me. Or maybe she decides her best friend would be a better partner for her than me."

"It's cute how worried you are, but you gotta calm down, Pez. If she'd want to be with that Zayn guy she'd be with him already. This is about building a friendship, not a relationship. I know you and I know that when you really like someone you like to fall fast and have a relationship as soon as possible. But you have to keep in mind that the best relationships come from being friends first. Also, you don't know about her feelings, yet.", Jonnie said and Perrie was surprised how good he knew her.

She has always been very close to her brother, but she never thought he knew her that well because they never talked about relationships or anything like that. Perrie was glad though that she opened up to him about Jade. It still sometimes hurt when she saw Jades Snapchat story, as example. The brunette hang out with Zayn recently and she posted a few videos on Snapchat and it kind of destroyed the little confidence Perrie had about them.

Perrie knew Jonnie was right. She had to take it slow. Otherwise it could destroy her and Jades only chance to get together someday. Especially, since Jade seemed like someone who falls for someone as soon as they got to know them. And Perrie had to admit, they didn't really know each other. Little did Perrie know, Jade was already feeling butterflies everytime the blonde smiled at her.

"I know, I'm just nervous, and excited. Today's going to be totally different.", Perrie whispered.

"It'll go well. Just be who you are and nothing can get wrong, honestly.", he smiled.

Perrie nodded slowly before she got ready to get to the train station to drive to Jade.

"What are you smiling about?", Zayn asked as Jade kept staring at Perries message. As soon as she heard her best friend talking though, she turned her phone off.

"Nothing.", Jade quickly said.

"Is it a certain someone?", Zayn suddenly teased and Jades eyes widened in surprise. Did he know?

"How did-"

"It was kind of obvious. You and Nick always had that great friendship and I noticed you two have been talking a lot recently.", he explained and Jade was relieved. He didn't know about Perrie. But wait, he wasn't supposed to think that Nick and Jade were more than friends.
