"The what?" You arch an eyebrow.

He sighed.

"I'm just passing a message along." He started. "Even though I want to do more."

"A rare side effect of having a Squip is called the Timeline Crisis. It's like your life goes into a loop until you make it right." He said.

"'Right?' I'm doing something wrong??" You start to sweat a little. "W-Wait, I don't even have a Squip."

"Uh, so you just have to find the problem, and then fix it. And then live your life normally." He tapped his finger on the table, and rested his head on his hand.

"How do you even know this stuff?" You queried.

"Keanu Re— I-I mean my Squip told me." His eyes seemed affixed right behind you.

You looked behind you, but saw nothing.

Yet you felt a presence.

"My Squip has kept me up to date with what goes on with the previous timelines. I'm sorry for being awkward..." He held regret in his eyes.

You stood up.

"Well I guess I have to find out what I'm doing wrong." You sighed.

"Thanks for coming on such short notice." Jeremy waved as you walked off.

"No problem."

He was wearing another one of his t-shirts that held a reference or symbol from a video game.

His attire was... Michael chic.

He invited you in, and you two settled on his bed with snacks spread around.

"So, uh, where'd you go again?" He was affixed to selecting a movie on his TV as he talked.

"Oh, I went to talk to Jeremy at the mall. It was pretty quick, but important nonetheless."
"What about?"
"It was actually about all this weird timeline business."

You thought you saw Michael roll his eyes when you mentioned Jeremy, but the glare on his glasses rendered you uncertain.

Michael didn't really speak for a while. You looked up at the screen.

You saw that his 'Recently Watched' category was filled with...

...rom coms?

You giggled.

On the inside.

Because it's rude to laugh at that. Right?

Yeah.

Michael grumbled, and tossed the remote down.

"I have no idea what to watch." He sighed, shoving more Cheezits in his mouth.

You looked around his room once more.

His closet door was slightly parted, and you could make out that...
