Full Moon

Nothing or Everything

The moon was shinning brighter and strongly than ever before.
Jason was standing there still breathing heavily, surrounded by his family and nothing was happening. He was so nervous, stressed, scared. He was slowly getting relieved. A smile was starting to appear on his face. His family was shocked, he was shocked.
Jay: I don't understand, what's happening.
Dad: Well, it seems like nothing's happening for all we know.
Jay: Thanks dad, that was really helpful.
They waited a couple more minutes but things were still the same.
Mia: Ok that's it, I have to go I'm turning. I need to leave.
Mom: You should leave to honey, you can't be here.
Dad: Ok, just...
Mom: I'll be with him don't worry honey.
Mia and dad go away for their transformation. Gladly the knight's house is right next to a forest, so they both go in its direction to turn, Jason and mom lose sight of them.
Jay: Mom I think we can come to the conclusion that I'm not a werewolf, we should call it a night? Right?
Mom: Yes Jason, it's way past the time when you should turn so I guess you're not a werewolf after all. Come on lets go inside is getting cold.
Jason's mom and himself go into the house.
-In the morning-
Jason goes to the kitchen and sees Mia having breakfast by herself.
Jay: Hey, how was your turning last night?
Mia: Hey how wasn't yours?-sarcastically
Jay: Are you mad at me, did I do something wrong?
Mia: No you didn't do anything wrong!
Jay: Is it because I didn't turn last night?
Mia: Just forget about it jay-she gets up and leaves.
Dad shows up in the kitchen.
Dad:Come on kiddo I'll take you to school.
-In the car-
Jay: Dad do you know why Mia is mad at me? Is it because I didn't turn?
Dad: just ignore her, she'll get over it.
Jay: Are you mad?
Dad: What? Of course I'm not. I don't care that you're not a werewolf, do you see me caring about your mom not being one?
Jay:Well no but...
Dad: Jason it's fine I love you, don't forget that.
Jay: okay dad, love you too.
They get to school and Jason gets out of the car.
He sees Ashley up far and rushes his pace, he gets behind her turns her around and kisses her.
Ashley: Well someone's in a good mood today. Good morning.
Jay:Someone is in a good mood today! And good morning to you too. Let's get to class.
They go to class.
At lunch time they all meet at the canteen coming from different classes.
They were all already seated at the table when Jay arrived.
Jay: Hey guys. I'll go get some food and I'll get here in a minute.
Ashley: Want some company?
Jay: Not really, thanks though, see you in a sec babe.
Jason goes to the queue to get food. And surprisingly he sees Hannah there.
Jay: Hello Thomson.
Hannah: Hello Knight, I can see you're feeling much better today, not sick anymore?
Jay: Nope, definitely not sick.
Hannah: I'm glad, good for you, Knight.
Hannah starts leaving when Jason says:
Jay: so I guess I'll see you around.
Hannah: I guess.
Jason goes back to his table with (his) food.
Ashley: So, who was that?
Jay: Who Hannah? She's just a girl I met yesterday at the nursery.
Ashley: Oh ok.
Eric: So guys party tomorrow at my house and EVERYONE's invited.
Ashley: You Should invite Hannah...
Jay: You're absolutely right.
Jason gets up and goes to Hannah's table.
Jay: Hi again, so my friend Eric is throwing this party tomorrow, you should come.
Meanwhile Eric gets on the table and screams:
Eric: Tomorrow. Party. My house. Booze.
Everyone starts cheering.
Jay: Yeah, that's the party I was telling you about.
Hannah: Yeah I think I got it.-laughing- you'll see me there.
Jay: Yeah you too, me I mean, you'll also see me there. Okay see you.
Hannah: Yeah, bye Jason.
Jason gets back to his table.
Ashley: So that seemed hard.
Jason: What? No it wasn't, I just invited her, that's it.
Ashley: Right. I've finished. I'm gonna go. Eric what about you?
Eric: Yeah I'm good to go too. See you Jason.
Jay: Ashley really?
Ashley: Bye jay.
Jay: Bye then.
A minute later...
Hannah: can I seat?
Jay: Sure.
Hannah: I'm not going to ask you what that was all about.
Jay: Yeah it's better if you don't.
Hannah: So what you want to talk about?
Jay: that's what I call being straight forward.
Hannah: That's just me.
Jay: so how about, how I'm not sick anymore.
Hannah: So you were actually sick yesterday?
Jay: Something like that.
Hannah: So, to change the subject. Are you used to going to parties?
Jay: Yeah I guess so. What about you?
Hannah: Not really, but we'll see how tomorrow goes and maybe I'll be going to more.
Jay: Yeah I bet you will. Haha. I think we should get going it's getting late.
Hannah: Yeah you're right. Wanna walk with me?
Jay: Sure let's go.
They get out of the canteen and get to class together.
