SECOND STRING-gym class bitches
PREVIOUS TIMES- the past
As the morning of my first day of high school rolled around, I woke up and showered quickly, throwing on my kilted uniform for my expensive private school. I ran into the bathroom straightening just my bangs and letting the rest of my shiny blonde hair fall in place. Curling the lashes that framed my dull brown eyes, I quickly applied lip gloss and blush, then headed downstairs and out the mansion's French doors.
I was an only child , so I had no siblings to attend or wait on, so Paul carried on and made his way to my school.
As I walked down the hallways I was unexpectedly greeted my some wolf whistles and nods. Something I was definatley not used to, especially in the presence of "Melii" or whatever she called herself now. I heard from somewhere once that girls who unaturally end their names with "i" are usually sluts. If "Melii"'s name ends in two "i"s does that mean she's a double slut? Probably. But I shouldn't be thinking like this about her. She IS my best friend. Whoa. She definatley deserves a good friend rather than some horrible bitch like me.
As I walked down the halls, in shame, I soon met up with Melii. "Hey!" she squealed in her perfectly smooth voice. I greeted her back and we began to walk down the halls, her excited and bubbily, while I felt really guilty. Once again I was greeted by Another guy Checking me out and asking for my phone number. "Hey there sexy, wouldn't you rather have MY number?" Melii purred "Actually I would." he replied and slipped the paper which carried her number into his pocket, continuing to class. Once again I was hid behind the shadows of Melinda. The guilt had left the building.
About an hour later I was moving on to second period, one I didn't share with Melii.
Taking a seat at the rear of the class I was met by the friendly smiles of boys, and the bitchy glares of girls, as usual. But the one smile i didn't get stood out to me the most, the boy to my left. He had dark, straightened hair that went just past his chiseled jaw, bright green eyes, a perfect nose and a jaw-dropping, stunning, gorgeous body. He was the bad boy type, I guessed and I was already, extremely attracted to him. Sending him a small smile, I said hello. Though, I was quickly discouraged when I wasn't given the slightest response at all. I let my eyes roam over his gorgeus body, boosting my ego once more when I realized he had headphones in. My assumptions were correct, rebeling against the rules on the first day, he was the bad boy type.
As my math teacher droned on and on about rules and regulations, I caught my self looking at the boy on my left again.
As the lunch bell rang, I made my through the classroom door. While walking through, I was lightly pulled back, falling in the process. I was pulled back on my feet from behind, my body rubbing against someone else's.
It was the boy on the left. "Hi?" I questioned, completely unsure. "Hi." he replied, damn. Even his voice was gorgeous. "I'm Livie Patricks", I said awkwardly. "Really? I thought your name was beautiful because, well you are." He threw me the pick up line while his face made home to the biggest smirk. "I'm Connor, by the way." "Connor.....?" I said expectantly. "Connor, just Connor." "Alright." I said with a smile as I continued to walk out the door but was stopped once again. "You know I do need to eat, right?" I said with another smile. For some reason they couldn't contain themselves around him. "Eat, as in rabbit food? And you could always eat with me, and tonight?" "Actually i like to eat, real food, and wait, did THE Connor, just Connor just ask me out!?" I asked with a smirk. "Yeah, you should be honoured." he teased as I lightly punched his arm "Alright, I guess I'll sit with you now, and maybe I'll even grace you with my presence tonight." I teased back. "Now I'm honoured!" he replied with a cheesy grin that made me blush.
During lunch break my lungs were on fire due to lack of air from my constant laughing with Connor. I was looking forward to tonight where he insisted I meet him at Lucky's Diner at eight.
He walked me to third period, where I rewarded him with a kiss on the cheek and met up with Melii.
"I'm coach David Bryan, but you can call me David. For the next three months, seeming as football and cheerleading tryouts start in two, the boys will be practicing drills, simmilar to the ones held during tryouts, game warm ups, and practices. The girls on the other hand will be enduring in the practices of gymnastics and cardio fitness, in preparation of cheer. Now not every boy will make or want to be come a football player but this counts towards ninety percent of your grade, the same goes for the girls."
As Coach David split up the gym in have for each gender, I knew which side I wanted to be on. So, I went over there. I didn't want to be a guy, don't get me wrong, I love being a girl, I just wanted to play football.
Snickers and laughter filled the gym, but I didn't care. I even got a, "What the hell are you doing?" from the coach. But I just responded, "Practicing drills, Coach." I guess the coach didn't want to press the issue further, because with a sigh, he let it slide.
The Coach and some of the boys seemed impressed when I turned out to be better than most of them. Though a lot, were extremely pissed.
After gym, I went to shower and change, but the girls in my class had other plans instead. They conered me into the wall for a little "confrontation", and that's when Melii stepped in.
*note! Please don't be offended by the "i" thing. It's not always true, and it's definatley not mentioned to offend!!! :)*
