I never went home immediately after I got off work. I stopped at a bar and watched some football matches as I drunk some whiskey. My phone kept vibrating in my pocket, but I never really cared enough to answer it. I just stared at my drink thinking about Alexander Wickers. I thought about how ten years of her life is unrevealed. What happened to her? Where did she go? Did she take off on her own? Was she kidnapped? "I have to find out."

"Find out what?" I turned quickly to the voice, accidently knocking my drink over. It was Liam and a friend of his, think his name is Zayn, I wouldn't really know since he doesn't speak much, "You're still a klutz even after work I see."

"What are you doing here?" I asked, waving a hand over to the barista to get me another drink.

"I could say the same thing for you Styles. I'm guessing you're ignoring every phone call and text message coming to you. Your wife called me thirty minutes ago frantic."

I ran a hand through my hair and placed my face in my other hand, "Shit. Tell her sorry. I'll be home in another hour."

"Hey, would you like to order anything while you're here?" The barista came up to us, giving me another whiskey.

"Yea, me and my friend here would like a beer, and this friend requests that be his last whiskey." Liam smiled at her.

"Alright darling." She winked and walked to the other end of the bar.

"And to answer what you said, hell no! She bit my ear off just rambling off questions about you. You have a phone, you do it." Liam said, patting me on the back, "Thanks." He replied to the barista as she slid him and Zayn their beers.

I nodded my head and took another sip of my drink, "Liam, your afternoon station is in the Girl's Ward right? Near the nurse's office?" Curiosity is getting the best of me now that he's here.

"Yea. Why?" In moments the answer to his questioned was already answered just by the look in my eyes, "You're wondering if that Alexander Cross girl did anything?"

"First off her name is Alexander Wickers, and second off no, I just-"

"Wanted to know where she was located is all, right?" Liam smirked, swigging his beer, "Looks like I know the reason behind why you're not going home."

Zayn laughed, it was the first thing he's done ever since they showed up. I looked up at the football match and saw Brazil cheering, they won 1-3. I pulled out two twenties and thanked the barista, "I'm going home, I've only had about four drinks."

Liam laughed, and set down his beer and some change. "You think I'm just going to let you drive yourself home? Funny, real funny. C'mon Zayn, you can drive my car and follow us in Harry's car."

"No I'm fine," I said as I bumped into a table on the way out.

"Right," Zayn said sarcastically.

Well in my defense I did feel okay while sitting, however standing up gave me a different perspective. The floor was slightly swaying and it was difficult enough to put one foot in front of the other. Once outside, Zayn got behind the wheel of Liam's truck while Liam got behind the wheel of mine. We were five minutes away from the bar until Liam decided to break the silence with saying, "What happened back at the Asylum?"

"Hmm?" I was looking out the window when he asked, only paying attention to the plains of Kansas.

"Don't act like that crazed girl didn't just lock eyes with you for no reason and asked to speak to you. Do you know her?"

"No Liam, haven't seen her or heard about her until this morning and afternoon." I shifted in my seat, suddenly uncomfortable with this choice of topic.
