After I left Ignis when I thought she was going to be okay I went to go see the Warden. He yelled at me for trying to open a door I’m not authorized to open, and the fact that I left my brief case and apple core on the ground for people to trip over. Next he gave me what he wanted give me that morning, an envelope containing information all about Ignis. He said since I was so curious about her that I should be the one who should help the DA and police department with the case by getting answers from her. Once he kicked me out of his office my day went as normal as it got around at the White House.
I got off of work my usual time around six and went home, not before walking pass Ignis’s room just to make sure she was okay. When I peeked into the window on the door I saw her in her usual spot, in the corner and knocked out. Once I got home I saw that my wife left me a note on the fridge;
Hey Honey Harry, I’m having a girl’s night out. Don’t worry about me I’m okay and I’ll be home before one.
Love you.
I smiled at the crossed out words; 'honey' and 'love you'. It was a sign that she was getting over her anger towards me. Even around my lunch break she called to check up on me. I opened the fridge and got out the rest of the left over Spaghetti and ate it as I looked over Ignis’s folder. I had to take the envelope and put it in the backseat of my car just so I wouldn't be tempted to read it through the day. It worried me that the envelope was so thin, though. In all my time working at the institution not a single one of my patient’s information was so short.
I ripped the envelope open and dumped it contents on the kitchen table, “What…” There was literally only four sheets of paper that had words typed on their fronts and backs, three pictures, and a golden locket. I first looked at the locket, turning it over in my hand and tried to see where the hinges are so I could see what’s inside. I narrowed my eyes when I couldn’t find any signs where to open it. “Maybe it isn’t a locket at all.”
I shrugged and went on to the paper work, reading through the basics;
