I walked out of the little white room exhausted, running a hand through my hair. On my way to the office area I stopped and grabbed a coke from the vending machine. I walked by the patient cafeteria and peered through the box window. The boys were just finishing lunch so here comes the girls. I watched patiently as the girls filed in one by one. Finally I see a head of wild curly hair among the girls that belonged to Ignis. She still hasn't made a single friend, or at least talked to someone. Like she did the day before she would get her tray of food and do sit near the bared window. She would munch on her food and stare out the window silently.

I checked the time on my phone; 9:55 A.M. "Shit," I muttered, starting on my way to the front of the building to the conference areas. I had a meeting with the law enforcement in a couple minutes and being late wouldn't look good.

"Ah Mr. Styles," Said one of the gentlemen standing near a white board, "Thought you would never join us."

I looked at the clock above him; it read 10:00 A.M. "I'm on time."

"Yes, yes you are." Another said, he was leaning in his chair and had his feet cocked up on the table. He was pale skinned with a black and white beard, a pot belly, and a terrible coffee stain on his shirt, "I'm Detective Watson and my hell-of-my-partner is Detective Andrew. The others who will be working with us are crime scene investigators; they won't be joining us until they have processed any salvageable evidence from the scene."

I nodded and sat down, turning my chair to face the white board. I focused on it enough to make out black words on it, "What do you guys have so far on Ignis?"

"Ignis?" They both questioned.

I suppressed an involuntary 'shit' that was about to say and said instead, "Alexander, I meant Alexander."

Detective Andrew looked me up and down before turning back to the board clearing his throat, "We don't have much on her. After she disappeared in '04 her life just stops, then picks up three days ago. Her parents are Ashley and Joe Wickers, they both were raised in Rockdale County. Ashley's maiden name is Sams and she was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Joe Wickers-"

"Look," I cut him off and walked over to the board, scanning through it, "Pretty much you have her background information, or so you think. This isn't her background at all." I picked up the black marker and drew an 'x' on all of their information, "Who you're talking about is a little eight year old girl named Alexander Wickers who grew up in Rockdale, and died in Rockdale county. The girl you found on June twenty-third, her name is Ignis, just Ignis."

The rest of the meeting went by slow, I had to answer all these questions and cough up any information I had on Ignis. For some odd reason I was irritated about them asking so many questions and implying her as the suspect. I kept telling them I only know as much as I told them. After what seemed like hours they let me go. I walked the halls down to my office with a nagging feeling; the feeling of betrayal. I shouldn't have said anything, I thought.

"Call in, uh..." I checked the clip board, "Patient 245."

"Actually I'm patient 244," I looked up to see who was speaking. It was one of the twins, but I couldn't tell who was who. They literally looked identical, "I'm Luke by the way, and your friend Howard has Luther."

"How do you know that much?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Well," Luke sat down and rested his arms on the metal table, "If they didn't kill me and my brother, then I knew we would end up here."

"Still doesn't explain as to why you know so much. All information about the staff or patients who work is strictly limited to the public."

Luke moved around his seat, getting comfortable, and a smile playing on his lips, "Mr. Styles do you honestly think that my brother and I don't have friends?" He started laughing, his body chains making noise in the quiet room.
