Ariel's POV:
Half of my day was full of: "Jeremy leave her alone," "Jeremy we're going to be late," and "Jeremy stop it". Almost all the girls in the school were drooling over him. Some girls even came up to him and gave him their numbers.
It is finally time for lunch and I don't think I have ever been more excited to go to lunch before.
"Hurry up Jeremy " I groan as he takes in more of his fans' numbers. Some of them glare at me and mumble things about me as they walk away. I roll my eyes and turn around ready to leave him, but as soon as I take one step, he is right behind following me to the cafeteria.
"Aren't you forgetting someone, Ariel?" he asks innocently.
"You could have asked one of your fans to take you to the cafeteria," I say, my voice full of annoyance.
"Oh come on sweetheart. You know you would never leave me."
"Almost did." I say then he begins to laugh hysterically. He leans into my ear and whispers,
"You're so cute when you're angry."
I storm away from him and enter the noisy cafeteria and go straight to the Alpha and Beta table with a chuckling Jeremy following behind.
As soon as I get to the table I grab Jeremy's arm and pull him towards my brother.
"Chris can you please take your person," I say in an exasperated tone. Chris turns around and looks at my face.
"Hey Ariel, what happened?" he asks concerned. I take a deep breath and try to calm myself down a little before answering. I gently say,
"Nothing happened, okay just please take him and keep him." Then I walk away and go to the table where my friends are. I get to the table, sit down and let out a loud groan.
"Not one of your best days is it?" Haley one of my friends asks.
"It was actually going fine till Mr.Edmond made that boy follow me around everywhere."
"Well, at least you have a boy following you around, and not just any boy, a cute son of an Alpha that is," Emily says.
"No, an annoying, cute son of an Alpha." I say back to her
"So do you know why he's here? Did he get kicked out of his old pack or did he run away?" another friend, Raven asks
"He ran away because no one really thought he was important to the pack everyone just saw him as the Alpha's second son and he knew he didn't really have any other role in the pack than that so he left."
"So it's almost kinda like you and me, you know seeing that our fathers already passed their titles down to other people," Emily says
"Yeah, I guess it's almost like us but you know that female higher ranks usually get mated with male higher ranks in the pack so I'm not that worried."
"Yeah you're not worried but look at me it's been 3 days since I turned 18 and I still haven't found my mate," Emily says.
"It's okay Emily, it takes time for people to find their mates and besides the right guy is definitely worth the wait" I reassure her.
