It doesn't matter how many plans you make with friends
it doesn't matter how many times you didn't cry in front of someone
it doesn't matter how many times you set the cold metal against your skin
it doesn't matter how many people try
it never mattered
what matters is how many plans you cancelled
how many times you did cry
in the empty loneliness of your room when everyone else is sleeping
how many times you broke your skin
what matters is how many people never saw it
it never mattered how many people ever tried
if you don't feel anything
then nobody can make you feel better
you see
people don't kill themselves because they have no way out
they do it because they can no longer be comforted
