The Upsilon, Connor, snuck through the undergrowth; much of the plant life was dead, because of the approaching winter, but Connor was an expert spy. He got to the clan border and smelled that they were here recently to mark their territory, or so they made it seem; Connor could still smell the faint scent of the Mu. He quickly and quietly crossed the border and started following the scent. Connor soon came across two wolves that seemed to be teasing a creature that they had trapped in a hole in the ground. Connor stayed downwind and well hidden as he observed them.

"Let me out before I have to get angry, ya bozos!" the trapped creature yelled.

"No way, you're staying here; you could be more food for us in the winter!" one of the Wolves responded.

Connor was astonished; they really were cannibals! The spy waited for a while until the wolves left. He quickly ran over to the stone and lifted it up.

"Riley!" Connor yelled happily before looking into the hole.

A creature, that was not Riley, jumped out of the hole and pinned Connor down. Connor tried to escape, but the wolverine held him down.

"Ok you Ocean's Sun scum, where's Riley!" Leroy yelled at him.

"No no no! I'm a spy for the Blood Moon Clan; I'm here to save Riley.

Leroy let him go.

"Ok then, if you're lying to me, then I'll kill you", Leroy said to him.

"I'm not lying; I was following their scent to find where they took Riley, but I instead found you and those other wolves", Connor explained.

"Lucky for you, I know where their dens are since I live close to here."

Connor then followed Leroy as he led him to the heart of Ocean's Sun's territory. They were careful as to stay downwind as they examined the clan from a distance. Connor was surprised to see that they had a very large clan. They didn't seem to be the small and hungry clan that Drake had explained. Leroy eventually pointed out a small cave with a large rock blocking it off; there was a small opening that the rock didn't cover. Connor could see a wolf snout poking out of the opening.

"I think that's him", Connor says.

"Yeah, but how do we get to him without being seen by the guards?" Leroy asks.

"We'll wait till nightfall to break him out."

Connor and Leroy then set up a small camp to watch from a distance until nightfall.

Meanwhile...

Riley was trapped by the clan in one of their extra dens, but a giant boulder blocked him from getting out. Riley then stared out of a small hole next to the boulder to see what Ocean's Sun was doing. Riley wondered if the others knew he was gone, he hoped that someone would rescue him, but he now has doubts, because the clan has a lot more members than he or Drake previously thought. Riley then heard some guards talking.

"Have you heard when Asher wants to attack those Blood Moon bozos?" One of the guards asks.

"The Beta was saying it would be soon since we have their Mu, and we have a spy in their midsts."

Riley went pale as he heard that last part. He quickly tried to think of who the spy could be. It couldn't be Drake, Jerrad, or himself.

"I can't wait to get a whole new territory; I heard that there's a large variety of prey in their giant forest; what was it called? Freddie's Forest?"

"It's called Franky's Paradise you idiotic mutts!" Riley yelled at them, "Franky was our old Alpha who died, so show some respect!"

"I dunno, I think I'll call it, Mike's Paradise, named after yours truly", the guard sarcastically responds.

Riley growls and lays down on the ground.

"Your clan isn't the poor, helpless one that your leader made it out to be", Riley said.

"Pffft! Bub and his clan of hippies aren't very smart; we just have to act all poor and innocent, and that stupid bear never actually leaves his area to solve boundary disputes!" one guard responds.

"The point of the UCF isn't to solve problems with threats, it's to solve problems with peaceful discussions."

"And look how that turned out for you, and soon, your clan too."

That statement made Riley become silent. It started getting dark, so Riley tried getting some sleep. His worry for the clan overcame him though. Mike and the other guard had passed out though. Suddenly, the boulder started moving. An opening widened enough for Riley to squeeze out of the prison. He was surprised to see Leroy and Connor as the ones who had saved him.
