Your POV

Kace and I went out of the house today. Mainly for food and to run errands. He enjoyed going out, and that made me happy.

After we ran errands I took him to the park. I watched him play as I heard another family walked behind us. A single father with two girls, one of them in a stroller and the other in a frilly princess dress. Wait, he had two daughters and a son. But his son was in the frilly dress.

I felt a smile on my lips, someone letting their child express themselves always made me feel happy. But his other daughter was also wearing a dress. The dad looked at me as they walked up to the park, I think he noticed the huge grin on my face. Kace ran up to me and climbed in my lap, that usually meant he was ready to leave.

As we walked back to my car I felt a tap on my shoulder, it was the dad from before.

"Hey.. Uh.. I just- wanted to give you this." He handed me a sheet of paper.

"Thank you?" I said as we walked to the car.

When we got back home I fed Kace lunch and put him down for his nap. I opened the piece of paper I was given at the park. It had a name written across the top, Jason and a number. I examined it for a minuet.

I wasn't going to cheat on Emerson, no. It was the fact that things like this usually never happen to me. I threw it away and went back to cleaning up Kace's toys.
