Author's Note:

What's going on with the ships? No one is into who they're supposed to be into.

Well, my dudes, that's how it works in real life.

They might not be each other's first, or even second.

But eventually, Phana and Yo will fall in love, Ming and Kit will find each other, Forth and Beam will come together.

TL;DR Don't worry abt these crack pairings, the endgames are still the endgames.

P.S. GxxodCop is my guilty pleasure. Soz

(09:19 P.M.) Mr. D: Give me a minute, it's dark.

"You got it?" Ming whispered, walking toward Forth while examining the empty alleyway for any eavesdroppers. He was completely obscured and in an innocuous way, with a bright pink beanie and a Hello Kitty face mask, but he also knew how every shadow turned into the FBI when it came to big names.

Ming saw Forth nod through a hoodie that concealed everything except his mouth. He looked a lot less innocent, but he also had a lot less to lose, Ming thought.

The man handed him a small black bag, which was immediately pocketed.

"There's 20," Forth stated, "You can check, but I'd advise against it. It should last you a week and then some. 18,600."

"Thanks," was Ming's only response as the money was passed between the two men, he trusted Forth enough to know there were 20 and that he was being charged fairly.

He turned and sauntered nonchalantly back into the street as the hooded figure melted again into the shadows.

No one seemed to recognize him in this getup, Ming observed with mild amusement. He'd forgotten how it felt to walk through streets without hordes of people screaming in his ear and cameras flashing in his face.

Maybe people were too tired to care about their surroundings. It was late, after all.

Ming took in the cool night breeze, his eyes closed, a small, peaceful smile on his face – he felt like a child again.

He was pulled immediately out of this trance, however, because someone had run into him. He rubbed his aching torso as his eyes fell onto this impediment; he didn't bother veiling his annoyance.

"Can you not watch where you're going?" he inquired through gritted teeth. So much for maintaining his approachable celebrity façade at all times.
