I've been writing poetry ever since I can remember, and I decided I want to post a few. This is one I did in my fourth grade a loooong time ago.

Enjoy!

Title: 'I Am' Poem.

I am a curious person questioning the world,

I wonder too much about the world,

I hear many things people say,

I see many things people have to pay,

I want to be free...me, and visit Chicago, I'm a curious person questioning the world.

I pretend to be bright and happy,

I feel hollow and crappy,

I touch the shadows that feel my sorrow,

I worry if I'll still be breathing, living, tomorrow

I cry out in anger if this insanity, this confusion, I'm a curious person questioning the world.

I understand painful, deafening silence,

I say farewell to all kindness,

I dream about the day this world will change, and see my cousins,

I try to be patient with all this tension and tightness,

I hope my dream will be granted, I am a curious person questioning the world....

Good? Bad? Well, comment! I need to know. I love feedback!

More to come, my dear readers!
