Chapter 5: Weird Discoveries

Nixie's head was pounding and she groaned wondering what was going on. " I see that your awake." Nixie sat up immediately, panic coursing through her as she looked at her arms and legs and then started to feel for the clip relaxing when she felt it in her hair. Ford looked startled by Nixie's sudden actions, wondering what she was doing. 'I'm still here? huh guess that explains the headache. He must be busy with something, well guess this is my chance to have some fun' Nixie thought while stretching her body. 

" Mabel stop putting glitter in the pancakes your gonna make us come down with sparkle lungs." Nixie heard Dipper say and giggled at his frustration. " Serai are you going to leave?" Ford asked," It appears I'll be able to stay here a little longer but I might leave whenever he wants me to come back."  Ford nodded holding back his questions when he saw Mabel come in.

" Nixie you stayed over. oh... do you want some pancakes. I made them myself along with Mabel Juice there REALLY good." Mabel said as she dragged the amused girl into the kitchen. Dipper saw what Mabel was doing and whispered his apologies to the poor girl. Nixie sat down confused by Dipper's words and stared at the cup of Mabel Juice in her hands. Nixie took a sip of it and Dipper was prepared to get his grunkles when she just laughed and drank the rest of the cup.

 Dipper gaped at Nixie stunned that she had drank THAT and was unaffected. " It was really sweet and had some bitter spots but it was pretty good Mabel." Nixie said and looked at Dipper and covered her mouth to hold back her laugh. " Are you okay Nixie? Your not dead are you, I mean you drank an entire cup of Mabel Juice and your fine." Dipper said trying to figure out what happened," I'm fine and I'm alive at least I think I am. It wasn't that bad I've had weirder drinks before to be honest." Nixie replied shrugging her shoulders.

" Really! I'm just going to take your word for that. Nixie how are you feeling now that your outside of the magical time grove?" Dipper asked looking concerned." I have a headache and I'm a little sore but nothing to bad. So what do you guys want to do?" Nixie asked a little excited that she would be able to stay with the twins. " I know we could introduce you to some of the creatures we've already met and then we could show you around town."

 Dipper said looking at Nixie with a smile. Mabel walked in, swallowing the pancakes in her mouth and said," We can also introduce her to everyone, this time we can hang out." Dipper looked over at Mabel, he was still worried about Nixie's condition. 'She looks fine but we can't just carelessly show her around either. Bills out there and I don't want them to meet,but I guess we just have to be on the look out.' 

Dipper sighed mentally when he saw that Mabel was already chattering about what they could do today. " Mabel slow down. We still have to be careful with Nixie, she's not gonna be able to do all these things." Dipper said and looked to Nixie for confirmation when he saw her looking dazed at them. "Ummm... Nixie? You there?" Dipper walked up to her and waved his hand in front of her and slowly got her attention. "You alright? Is your energy being drained more than you thought.."

" No that's not it. Its just I fell weird like the area here is hazy or... something" Dipper almost started laughing," I guess Mabel Juice does affect you it just takes longer..phfft... It should go away but we'll take it easy I know what its like to drink that its not fun." Mabel crossed her arms and playfully glared at him. Nixie just shook her head and walked closer to them. Mabel then grabbed Dipper and Nixie's hands and pulled them back to the shack. " What are you doing Mabel? I thought we were going to show her around?"

 Mabel continued to pull them until they reached their bedroom and she shut the door. " I have changed my mind I want to dress Nixie up and hear more about her "friend"." Mabel said using her fingers to put the quotation marks around the word. Dipper snorted at her and looked at Nixie who appeared to not understand what Mabel did.
