Screams.

Blood.

Pain.

Suffering.

All those things is war. War to everyone. It changes people. You'll be forced to kill. You'll be forced to fight. That's everything I thought of after a year fighting in the clone wars. Man after man, droid after droid, leader after leader, citizen after citizen....

Fighting has been a part of my whole life. At first, I was fighting for hate and against pain. Then, I was fighting for what I believed. Now, I'm fighting in war. War, where I'm supposed to stand side by side, fighting for an unknown reason. That's how it've been feeling like.

Tear after tear had shedded after the last battle. I'm hurt, on the inside mostly. My best friend.... gone...

I was running in the battle field on Genosis, along with my master, master Windu and my best friend, Kyro Wyumo. Explosives and laserbolts flew over the dry land, making it look more like a lightshow. But it wasn't pretty. At least not if you were a part of it.

"Ano, take those in the towers!!" Obi-Wan yelled over to me.

"Yes master!" I yelled back. I jumped up, and started slicing up genosions.

"I'm sorry." I whisperd to their dead bodies before jumping to the next tower.

Soon enough, we had them outnumberd, and the genosions were forced to retreat. Our men pumped their hands in the air as proudness of our victory, when I suddely ran away. Master Windu and Obi-Wan seemed confused and suprised at my actions. They hadn't noticed. Kyro wasn't back.

I sensed her from under one of the fallen towers. Using the force to throw the whole tower away, I kneeled down beside her.

"Kyro." I called to her, louder and louder.

"D-don't... An-no.... I'm.... s-sorry it had t-to e-end l-like this..." Kyro stutterd as answer, before her body went limb.

"Kyro, Kyro wake up. KYRO!!" I called out, feeling tears started to leak down on my face.

"MEDIC!!! WE NEED A MEDIC!!"

As soon as one of our medics arrived, he could already tell.

"I'm sorry, commander. There is nothing I can do." he told me, as master Windu and Obi-Wan arrived.

"I'm sorry master Windu." I said to the older jedi master, looking up with my eyes filled with tears over the loss.

"It's okay, padawan Globe." master Windu told me, before lifting up Kyro's dead body."I'm sure you can learn by this do not form attachments."

I hung my head, nodding. We all started to walk back to the cruiser, and I felt an arm wrap around my shoulders. I knew it was my master, trying to comfort me, but I shrugged it off, walking faster.

"Never form attachments, espacially not in war. It will only bring pain and suffering when the time comes."
