Chapter 4

Optimus's pov
*at Night*

I was in my berth room, thinking of what Starfire has told me. It makes my spark hurt as I slowly start having emotions... as warm liquid energon dripped down my optics.. it was tears as I slowly started crying. I keep thinking of what she said and it makes me feel hurt of it. I then slowly fell into recharge

*next day*

I woke up as I rubbed my optics and got up and walked out of the room. Starfire was working, not greeting me today. 'Strange..' I thought to myself as then Arcee came to me as she then start flirting,"Good morning, Optimus~ You seem pretty strong today~" she flirted. I didn't flirt back as I thanked her,"Thank you but I have work to do now" She then took my servo,"Oh c'mon, Oppie~ Why don't you take a break and hang out with me? It would be fun~" I looked at her and sighed,"Thank you but I'm sorry, I must get back to work" She then begged,"Please Oppie..~" I looked at her as I sighed,"Alright.. just few minutes.." I said as I walked away with her.

Third person

Starfire saw what happened as she was only silent, trying to calm her down. 'how dare you, Arcee. Only I can call him Oppie. Not you.' She growled as she walked away to her berth furiously. Arcee noticed as she slowly smirked, 'Finally, that will keep Optimus away from her. Optimus will be mine and forever will be my sparkmate. She will not have him but I will' Optimus and Arcee then went out patrol, talking while driving. Starfire was in her berth, angrily but sad as she then slowly cried. They came back in the base after some few hours. Starfire was still working as she was upset. Optimus then walked to her, trying to talk to her,"Hey Starfire..." But.. She ignored him. This make Optimus grew more emotions. He keep trying to talk but Starfire just keep quiet, ignoring him..
He then sighed and walked away to his berth room, 'maybe she needs some alone time...'

*skips to few days*

Starfire has been ignoring Optimus for few days and since the day that Arcee always hang out with him. She make sure that she will take Optimus away from her so that she could have him as her sparkmate. She was jealous to see this, knowing Starfire and Optimus were sparkmates once since Cybertron. But now things get a little disaster. Love disaster. Optimus didn't give up as he still wants Starfire back in his life so he slowly start courting her by giving her gifts and anything she likes. But unfortunately, she denied any gifts that belongs from him. He felt heartbroken but he still never gives up. Then slowly.. He stops sending gifts but he still love her deeply in his spark. Even he may have not speak to her for a while, he would go back to his old self as a prime, who doesn't really likes to have fun, and show no emotion like love.
At night, he then wrote a poem for Starfire. He walked to her berth room and put it on her berth then walked back to his room. The next morning, Starfire woke up as she noticed a piece of paper on her berth as she took it and read the poem,

'Bright as Star you are so far,
Hot like fire,
you're the one I desire
Our love like the stars at night, endless it might,
I love you till death do us apart'

Still she was still upset because of Arcee but she kept the poem to herself. Optimus never stops making gifts but doesn't give it to her as he thought that she might not want the gifts anymore. Anything he make, he would keep them in his room. Slowly he noticed that Starfire has been hangout with everyone lately except him and Arcee. He got upset, really upset for it. He did not knew why she was like this.... He thought to himself,

'She doesn't want me anymore....'
