Chapter 7

Optimus was being back to his old self, no emotions, just being himself as a prime like always as he looked into his monitor. Starfire started feeling strange from him tho she knew she had avoiding him for a long time so it's time she started talking to him. She walked to him,"Hello, Optimus" Optimus turned and looked at her,"Hello, Starfire. Is there something you need?" He asked. "Umm no but I just want to talk to you" she said as he only nodded,"What is it?" "Are you.. alright? You seem to be fine now.. I always see you being heart broken because I avoided you for some time..." She said. He looked at her,"Since when? I feel perfectly fine ever since you start joining with us" She looked at him,"But you were... I mean we were sparkmates once.." He confused,"I don't remember you becoming my sparkmate" She shocked,"You.. don't remember me..?" She asked, shocking... He shook his helm. "Oh.. I see.." She then slowly walked away as her hot liquids form in her optics as she walked to her berthroom... She layed down on her berth as she slowly start crying..., 'He can't even remember me..? But It was true that I was his sparkmate once.. what has happen to him...' She kept crying silently in her berthroom..

However....
Ratchet has put Optimus's true memories in a jar and put somewhere to keep it safe. But... Eventually Miko saw him putting the jar and wondering what was inside as she looked at Ratchet,"Hey, Doc! What's inside?" She pointed at the jar. Ratchet looked at her and the jar,"Nothing and don't call me doc. And don't break the jar!" He grumbles and went back to his work. Miko pouted as she then find a way to get up to the jar. She called Bulkhead as he carried her and put her down next to the jar. She looked at the jar and pushed the jar to open it. The jar then broke and cause Ratchet to hear. He went to the jar and gasped,"MIKO! WHAT DID YOU DO?!" He yelled and Miko giggled,"Whoopsie.. I just wanna see what's inside" He growls,"It's a memory of Optimus! He wants me to keep it in a jar and put it somewhere safe and now you break it! And I already warn you not to break it!"

The memories of Optimus suddenly went back to him. Optimus rubbed his head and looked at Ratchet,"Ratchet.. what happened... And why is my memory back?" Ratchet pointed at Miko,"She broke it! I told her not to break it but she didn't listen to me!" He glares and Miko only giggled,"I just want to see what's inside" Optimus sighed,"It's alright, old friend..." He said as he went back to work.

Starfire was there, secretly saw them and knew that the memories was actually been kept in the jar for so long. She sighed,"No wonder he doesn't remember me..." She went to patrol.

*day pass by*
Optimus was still having a sparkbreak but not showing it. He went out to patrol and suddenly got caught by some decepticons. Optimus transformed but didn't fight back as the decepticons attacked him, as energons spread everywhere. However Starfire was there as she shot the decepticons with her blasters, saving him from them. The decepticons retreat and he looked at her as he then passed out from the attack. Starfire sighed as she transformed and dragged him back to the base to get him heal.

She arrived as she called Ratchet to heal him. She put him on the med berth as he started healing him. After few minutes, Optimus woke up and found himself in the base. Ratchet was still healing him since there's a lot of energons coming out. Optimus sighed as he said,"Stop what you doing, old friend..." Ratchet stoped and looked at him,"Optimus, What has gotten into you? You must be heal. Starfire said you had to be heal or else I'll get a knock from her." He grumbled. He slowly got up,"I'm sorry but please stop.. you can't fix what it can't be fix.." "What do you mean?!" He yelled. He sighed,"My Starfire... I had a long depression and I'm suffering through my sparkbreak... She was everything to me and now.. I lost her.. She's with Sentinel now.. She was my sparkmate... my spark.. my life... I just wished I could die from this pain of suffering." He clenched his servo and slammed his servo on the berth as he suddenly cough, spreading energons everywhere.

He didn't knew Starfire was there, listening to what he said as she walked and stood next to Ratchet. Ratchet sighed,"I'm sorry, Optimus... you need to be heal.." He said as he continued healing him. Optimus growled and pushed him away,"I said NO! Leave me be! It's an order!" He yelled. Ratchet sighed,"I'm sorry. I can not follow that." He still continued to heal him as he coughed again, spreading more energons.. Starfire sighed and said,"Optimus.. please listen to Ratchet and get heal.." Optimus turned and looked at her and only silent. "I'll come to see you once you're done healing.." She said as she walked away, leaving him to heal.

After some another few minutes healing, Starfire walked to see Optimus, finding him sitting on his berth. She walked to him as he looked at her,"...What do you want to talk about? Your new life with your new sparkmate?" He said sarcastically and avoid optic contact with her. She gasped,"Optimus.. since when I said Sentinel is my new sparkmate... I would never do that.." She said sadly. "You started avoiding me, you never like all the gifts that I made for you, you never even bothered to talk to me or hang out with me.. you only love spending time with Sentinel and that makes me think that you chose him over me.." He said as tears form in his optics. "Optimus... I.... I'm sorry... I avoided you because I'm having depression as well and Arcee keeps asking you to go out with her.. that hurts me seeing that you agreed every time she did something to you.." She said. He only looked down, silently. "I'm sorry I couldn't be the better sparkmate you wanted me to be... And yesterday.. it hurts me so much that you kept your memories away and never wanted me in your memories anymore.. It broke my spark so much... I'm sorry if I did something wrong but I would never let Sentinel be my sparkmate.. I still wanted to be yours.." She said as she cried silently. He was only silent, realizing his mistakes that will only break her spark as well. She cried more,"I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I should just go.." She walked away but he grabbed her servo,"No wait. Just stay.." He said as he got up and slowly hugged her,"I... I'm sorry as well.. I realize my mistakes now... I still want you to be mine... just stay with me.. like we promise back at the Cybertron.." He hugged her tightly. She looked at him and hugged him back,"But.. what if Arcee tried to separate us..?" "That won't happen. I will not let that happen" he said as she nodded and kissed him softly.. He blushed lightly and kissed back as well...
