"We'll get Peter! That's our main priority! Hear that men!" I yelled. It had been a week since me and Hazel fell onto Neverland. I was caption. I had to except that because for the first two days I tried to convince them that I wasn't who they were looking for. But they were convinced that I was.
"Eye eye, Captain!" The crew yelled and everyone went to their positions. Louis came up to me,
"It's a good plan, cap'n. But how do we find him?" He asked. I looked around, everyone wanted to hear my answer. Hazel pulled on my arm, I turned around and she whispered:
"We could get one of those kids we saw on the beach. They would tell us where he is." She suggested. I nodded and turned back to Louis,
"First, we take one of his lost boys. We make them answer to us where Peter is." I thought for a moment. "Wait, I have an idea." I smirked, Louis looked at me, a bit afraid.
Later that day, I was walking on the beach with Hazel. The crew was in the forest. I knew that the only way to get a lost boy, is to get them to come to me.
"Hey! Peter! It's James! I'm coming for ya! And you better not send out your lost boys!" I yelled, not very convincingly. But the lost boys came out of the trees. I looked around, I was looking for someone specific.
"Ready?!" Hazel yelled. I nodded,
"Get him!" I jumped and tackled the one I was looking for, the crew came from out of the woods and held every other lost boy back. Hazel and I each grabbed an arm of the one I tackled and brought him into the boat. "We're good, boys!" I yelled to the crew. The crew shoved all of the lost boys onto the ground and ran to the ship. Once everyone was on, we took off into the sky again.
"Let me go!" The boy said. Me and Hazel tied him to a poll on the boat. We stepped back and watched him try to get out,
"I feel so bad. You're sure that we'll get him back?" She asked me.
"I'm hoping so." I walked back up to the boy, "I know you're in there. You're stronger than a stupid curse. Hazel is here, do you remember her? You love her, Simon." I said, and slowly bright Hazel closer to him. He looked at her, confused. Like he had seen her before, but he couldn't remember where.
"I think he's getting there." Hazel whispered.
"Ok, Simon. Listen to me. Where is Peter?" Once I said "Peter" Simon almost broke out of the ropes, like I had just called him a bad word.
"There is a hit in the forest. He lives there with the lost boys. That is my home." He said that like he had been rehearsing it.
"Simon."
"I'm not Simon. I'm a lost boy... I'm not Simon. I'm a lost boy..." Simon reappeared over and over, each time he said it, it was quieter than the last.
"I got it." I said, and I got closer to him, "You are Simon. You're my best friend from the orphanage. You're in love with Hazel, and she loves you. You are Simon." I said. Trying to undo the curse he was in.
"I'm not... I'm Simon. James is my best friend from the orphanage. Hazel..." he smiled when he said Hazel, then looked up from the ground. He smiled even more when he saw Hazel. He shook his head and opened his eyes, wide. He looked down, "Why am I tied up on a ship?"He asked me and Hazel. I laughed,
"Yes! We got Simon back!" I yelled, I walked over and untied him. Hazel ran over and hugged him,
"Peter kidnapped you a couple days ago. Me and James found you at this place, it's called Neverland. It's a weird place that we can't explain. Apparently, James is a captain of this ship and their goal is to stop Peter because he kidnaps other people." Hazel explained without letting go.
"What?" Simon asked. Hazel let go and couldn't help but smile.
"You were out under a curse by Peter. You don't remember anything. You'll understand when you stand up." She said. Simon nodded and stood up. He looked around and saw Neverland. He saw an island that was surrounded my water that went falling over an edge, no one knew where it went to. He saw mermaids jumping in the water, like dolphins. He turned his head to the island to find a beach and then a forest that covered the center of the island.
"This is a dream, isn't it?" He asked without looking away from the island.
"I wish." I laughed. He looked at me,
"I haven't seen you in years, man." He walked over and hugged me. I awkwardly hugged him back. "So, this is real?" He asked me after he let go.
"Yeah. Peter's evil. He took kids and are using them as an army, he calls them The Lost Boys. My plan is to take the kids back, one by one, me and Hazel agreed that we should save you first. Then Brayden. Then the others. Once we have his army, we thought that he would be defenseless." I explained. Simon nodded, but I could tell he didn't full understand.
"Ok, how can I help?" He asked.
"You're going to be our bait. Get Brayden to come alone to the beach and we'll capture him, but not as big of a scene as we made when me caught you." I blushed, We probably could've not made such a big scene. I thought,
"Ok. How do I do that?" He asked.
"Say that Peter wants to talk to you and Brayden. Then just bring him to the beach and we'll do the rest. Jus find Hazel and she'll bring you onto a safe place on the ship." I explained. He nodded.
"Cap'n?" Louis spoke up. I looked up, he was on the upper deck,
"Yes Louis?"
"Are we gonna do som'n 'bout that arm?" He asked. I looked down at my wrist. I sighed.
"Any suggestions?" I asked.
"I got one." Louis went into a room and came back out with something. He put it on my hand and took of its cover. "What'd ya think?" He asked.
"I oddly like it."
"Well you are our cap'n. What should we call ya?" He asked. I smiled, Captain Heather doesn't sound right. Then it hit me,
"You can call me Captain Hook."
