Don't Threaten Me With Your Angel Boy

Dean was the first to emerge from the elevator. He was gagged - probably to stop him from spouting obscenities all the way here. That was a smart move. Sam, however, knew how to shut up. He had his mouth shut the entire time. However, when he saw me, he said, "Mr. Stark. On behalf of my brother and myself, can I just say what an honor it is to meet you? You. . . . You've been mine and Dean's hero ever since I was ten years old."

I nodded and said, "Let's cut to the chase, Sam the Man. You, Dean-o-saur, and I have some business we need to discuss. I would very much appreciate it if you could remove your brother's gag so we could speak." Sam gladly obliged. Dean stretched out his jaw and sniped, "There better be a really damn good reason for that, Tony Stark!"

"Dean, maintain. S.H.I.E.L.D. was merely taking precautions. Please, sit down! Take a load off!" The brothers sat down - Sam, eagerly; Dean, not so much. Sammy said, "Oh my Chuck, we are actually talking to Tony Stark. I have so many questions. How exactly did you make the mini ARC reactor? When you put on the Iron Man suit, does JARVIS activate immediately or after like three minutes or so?" I laughed and said, "Whoa! Dial it back a few notches, kiddo. That's not what Nick brought you here for. We need to talk about your father."

Instinctively, Sam and Dean tensed up. My brother was a touchy subject, evidently. Dean glared at me and snapped, "What about the son of a bitch do we gotta talk about?" I said, "Yesterday, Nick Fury stopped by the Tower carrying three files - one for you, Sam, one for Dean, and one for John. All of them had one thing in common: I was a part of them." Sam had this confused look on his face and said, "Why in the name of Chuck were you in our files, Mr. Stark?" I took a deep breath and said, "You're not gonna believe this, but I'm your uncle on John's side of the family."

Dean laughed - like he thought I was telling a really good joke. He gasped out between peals of laughter, "Yeah, right! And Martin Freeman is gonna stop playing Bilbo Baggins! Can my brother and I go now? Cas and Bobby are waiting for us in Sioux Falls. Bobby found us a good case and I'm itchin' to check it out." Steve was in the room with me and he said, "He's dead serious, boys. I was there when Nick brought the files. The thing that they all had in common was the fact that Tony was a part of all of them." Dean was 1000% done with this, I guessed. He shot the both of us a death glare and snarled, "Listen, Star-spangled and Iron Jerk. We have a job to do, and you're keeping us from doing it. Let Sammy and I go, or Imma call Cas and he will not be amused." I raised an eyebrow and said, "Dean, I think I can handle anything you throw at me. If there is one thing that I've learned from the Avengers, it's that you don't mess with us. So don't threaten me with your Angel Boy."
