Chapter 10: A couple days went by, and I hadn't talked to Matt or Cameron at all. I wasn't talking to Cam because I didn't want to make it anymore complicated.But It was hard not responding to any of there messages, and not having anyone to talk about it too. I decided to text my friend from school, Kylie. I knew she wasn't big on The boys and I was tired of being bored and alone. We met on the beach to lay out and talk. I decided to catch her up on the whole Naomi crap because I knew she always hated her. " Are you serious?! Why are you letting her do this to you?" She was about yelling at me. "You think it's easy for me to ignore BOTH of the guys I like and leave them hanging?Not only that but she gets to decide if I'll ever be able to be with Matt." They must think I hate them I thought.
"Ok well first, you need to decide which one you like and break it to the other one." She said like it was that easy. Maybe it was that easy? But if I said I liked Matt, Naomi would definitely tell Cameron what happened and he would hate Matt, it would be my fault too. I wish it was that easy though. "Ok thanks for the advice, I will definently think about it." Kylie didn't really give me that great advice, but I just needed someone to listen while I got it off my chest. I said bye and started walking back to my house, I put my earbuds in and turned my music up loud. It was one way to forget everything for a little while. I kept walking close to the shore when someone grabbed my shoulder, I jumped and turned around, pulling my earbud out. " Hey Elle" I looked at the familiar face and realized it was Nash! " Hey Nash. What are you doing here?" I said realizing it sounded pretty dumb what did I think he was doing on the beach? "Just going for a run and I noticed you, so I thought I'd say hi." He said and smiled. "Oh, yeah I was just catching up with an old friend." I said. " I haven't seen you around lately, but Naomi has been constantly coming by, asking for Matt " he said. "Oh, has she?" "Yeah, but for some reason lately Matt has been really down. You should stop by and cheer him up" Nash said. It must be worse then I thought, whenever something bothered Matt he would completely forget it an act like nothing was bothering him. I wanted to know how Cam was, but I thought it would be weird to ask. "Listen, I know it's none of my business, but I can tell something happened with Matt, and Cameron..." How did he know about Cameron? Was he listening to my conversation with Kylie...My heart started to beat really fast. "And I want you to know I'm here for you." I took a deep breath and relaxed. "Thanks, Nash." I said feeling relieved, it was nice to know that he was there for me. "Wanna take a walk and talk?" He asked. I shook my head, and we started to walk in the sand.
