i woke up , my surroundings were different . i woke up thinking i was back in texas , i was in LA .

i got up & showered then dressed , i hated it here , i had no friends . the beginning of summer & i could tell it would be nothing but boring the whole time .

i went outside & walked around for awhile . i decided to go get some bbq from a joint i saw across the street , once i got to the window i ordered from a seemingly, awkward kid with a neck brace . i also saw a nice haired boy , we made eye contact . damn , he's cute as fuck , i smirk slightly as i see him staring at me , his jaw wide opened & a huge charm in his eyes . i winked at him as i payed the guy in the neck brace and walked to a nearby table . i sit down & eat just as i see the nice haired boy run over to me , he tripped slightly and rested his hand on the table i was at . " h-here's your- uh , sausage- smOkEd " he sat down a plate that had sausage on it , " i didn't order this , but thanks ? " i replied . "oh- you didn't ? " i shook my head , " well in that case , nevermind " he grabbed the plate and rushed back into small joint , tripping over his feet . i chuckled lightly and blushed a bit as i saw him , i hear a yell . i look back at the joint and see him pointing to me

" I TALKED TO HER " i yelled as i ran into the joint , jamal looked back at me , annoyed . " ruby , i have orders to take , help me " he said multitasking with plates of food in his hands , " and i have a boner ! do you see her ? " i pointed to her and saw her look back at me , i jerked my hand back and threw myself on the floor " hOLY SHIT " jamal looked at me as i fell and went back to serving food . my heart was racing & i started to sweat profusely like i do when i'm nervous . does she think i'm weird ? did i ruin my chances of talking to her ? did she leave ? but she winked at me ! she fucking winked at me !
