Draco had decided to skip dinner that night, and instead found more favor in waiting for Harry's letter in his common room while finishing up his potion book re-read. This, however, turned out to be pretty stupid, as Harry had waited for Shadow to show up and prove or disprove his theory, but she never came. Though, she visited her master where he was, not where he wasn't.

The only Slytherin gone that night from the Great Hall and Shadow had not shown herself. Things were most definitely adding up for one Harry Potter.

'Dear... D (I can call you that now, right?),

Of course I'll forgive you! It's wasn't really your fault and I don't blame you, it just kinda happened that way.

Really? Well, that's a relief. It would be kind of weird if you were actually a first year...

Um, I honestly don't think it's a good idea to say... Since you both are in the same house and year...

Nobody perfect, except maybe you, but definitely not me..'

This made Draco blush for two reasons: number one, Harry bloody Potter had just called him perfect! Him, of all people. And two, Harry kept putting himself down, and that cost of flush of anger to appear across his nose and to the tips of his ears, but he couldn't stay mad at Harry, not fo long, anyway. Draco had to keep Harry's insecurities in mind next time he talked to him.

'Why are you used to it, anyway? There's no reason to stay up for me, and you really shouldn't be up so late. Get some sleep for me, yea?

You really don't have to! I can get some more next Hogsmeade weekend. :)

   -H.'

Draco smiled at Harry's copycat signoff. "What are you smiling at?" Came a cheeky voice from behind him. He quickly hid the letter close to his chest and turned to see Pansy, slouching, with her arms folded, on top of the armchair Draco currently reside in, her head solfly rested of them, a smirk gracing her features.

Draco hadn't even heard her come in, let alone get as close as she had. "Oh- um- hi, Pans..?" It strangely came out as a question, like he was inquiring on how she had managed to sneak up on him. She simply ignored the incorrectly phrased question even though they both knew she knew what he was asked.

"Well, come on, let's see then." Pansy said smugly, not really knowing what to expect. Draco tentatively (after making sure they were alone) showed the awaiting girl the parchment he held closely to his heart. To his surprise, it took a few moments before she finally broke out in a squeal, jumping about happyly. "Why didn't you tell me?? When did you start talking?? Oh my gosh- this is amazing. This is amazing!! Have you told him yet? Well, clearly not-"

Draco then tried his best to tune the squeaking fan girl out, wanting nothing more than for his now accumulating headache to kindly fuck off.

A/N well, if you haven't noticed, I have a schedule now!! Every Monday, a new hapter. I finally got this system because I hated the three (give or take) month long hiatus this book went on and needed a dead line to get this stuff finished. Also, a few tiny references scattered here 'n there throughout this.

So, every Monday, 12:00pm (noon) EST, a new hapter. Is that fair enough? I hope so.
