Sebastian's POV

Aunt Clarissa walked into my office and tapped her foot impatiently. "What is it aunt?" I asked, my eyes fixed on my laptop screen. "Sebastian, weren't we supposed to go somewhere important today?" I looked at her, my mind searching for any event or meeting I had to attend but there was none." I don't think so"

She signed as she slapped her forehead. "Sebastian Rockwell...we were supposed to visit the Ivors today." Oh....that's what was important?

"We don't have to go aunt, I talked to Fiona about it." Immediately,  my laptop was shut.

"You did what?! Sebastian, we were supposed to talk about it as families....not individuals." I rolled my eyes and shrugged my shoulders.

"You are coming with me mister.......to correct your mistake and plan your marriage." I gave out a sigh before walking out and to John, informing him to cancel my appointments and meetings for the rest of the day. As we climbed into the car, I looked at the company building. Boy, today was going to be a long day!

Fiona's POV

As I continued weeping on my mother's lap, a maid walked in. "Sorry to interrupt madam but the guards say that Sebastian Rockwell is at the gate. Should they let them in?" Wait, what?!? Wasn't the 'meeting' in his office enough for him? I looked at my mum and she nodded her head.

Without thinking, I ran upstairs to a casual purple room which use to be mine before I moved out. Luckily, nothing had changed since my mum wanted me to have my room whenever I visited.

I walked up to the dressing table and looked at myself. Geez! Was that me or an alien version of me? I walked to the en suite which also had purple walls with dark purple and white tiles. I walked up too the sink and washed my face. I returned to the dressing table and did my make up all over again. I untied my ponytail and held my hair into a messy bun with some curly strands loose across my face.

I looked at myself and gave out a sigh of relief. Now I was ready to face Sebastian, physically. I walked around my room and every time I thought of leaving that door, I looked at my bed and thought about faking being asleep, at least until he was gone. "No Fiona, you are a fighter and most importantly a champion. Get your butt there and face him," my subconscious said and I wondered if it was the same one which told me to ran for the hills earlier.

Well, whether it was the same or not, it was right. I had to get in there and face him, show him that he didn't scare me even though I was petrified.

Sebastian's POV

We walked into their mansion and from the choice of furniture and colour, I could see that her parents had class. Once we were in their living room, the maid who had led us in looked at the couch in front of us. "Here they are madam," she said and a woman beside a man, I presume Fiona's mother and father, signalled her to leave.

"Welcome to our humble home. Please, have a seat." She said sweetly but her husband was silent, his eyes hinting hatred which I quite didn't understand. Aunt Clarissa had her non ending smile but I didn't see the use of smiling when I was being forced to marry a woman I didn't love but hate.

"Thank you very much Rose. How are you both doing Harold?" Aunt Clarissa directed her question to the man and he gave a brief smile and nodded his head, his eyes still bearing the same expression.

"So this is Sebastian. The last time I saw him was when he was a little boy. You took very good care of him Clarissa." Rose said and I looked at her. How did she know me?

"Princess, you are finally down....and just in time, the Rockwells are here." Harold said looking above my head and I turned back, looking at Fiona as she walked down the steps casually with a smile on her face. I remembered her watery eyes earlier that morning and it was hard to accept she was the one smiling now.

Aunt Clarissa moved closer and whispered into my ear, "Are you sure you hate this beautiful girl in front of us cause it seems to me that you like her with the way you are staring at her." I looked at her and furrowed my eyebrows. "Never," I whispered back and looked back at her parents. I can't like her because I hate her.

Fiona's POV

Once I sat between my parents, I looked at Sebastian who stared at me with his cold emerald green eyes. How could a guy that handsome be that cruel? Wait, hold on! Did I just cal Sebastian Rockwell handsome? What are you thinking Fiona?

After an arkward moment of silence, the woman beside him cleared her throat. "Now that we are all here, I'd like first to apologise for what Sebastian did. He didn't know that the families had to meet first, did you Sebastian?" She asked him and he looked up to me and for the first time, I saw him smile but something about it wasn't genuine. What is he planning now?

Sebastian's POV

If I was going to marry her in order to torture her, I knew I had to make her parents think she was in good hands. I smiled, a fake smile, and looked at Fiona. She furrowed her eyebrows at me as if she knew what I wanted to do.

"Of course aunt, I had no idea about it. Actually, now that we are all here I'd like to say something. Fiona, I love you." She looked at me, eyes wide in surprise. Her parents looked at each other and my aunt looked at me. I know, I'm also surprised but I had to act if I was to make her life a living hell.

I stood up and walked to her. I'm going to regret this! I told myself as I went down on one knee and took her hand. "I know I told you that I hated you and I went to an extent of threatening you but the reason I did that was to make my heart stop loving you. I did all those not to hurt your feelings but try to hide mine. Right now, I hope I can fix my mistake since I do love you, very much."

Her stare never left mine and shock was written all over her face. "Fiona, will you marry me not because of the agreement between our families, but because of my love for you." She continued staring and I could hear her try to breath. Wow! I was very good at it then.
