"Mitch?" Myra calls out as she walks down the stairs.

Everyone in the house is asleep except for Myra. Myra was making her way down the stairs and towards the kitchen to get a glass of water, when she noticed the kitchen light was on, when she clearly remembers turning it off.

"I swear to God if there is a ghost in the house, I'm leaving." Myra mumbles to herself as she tip toes towards the kitchen. Myra the stops in her tracks as she spots the sliding doors that lead to the beach are wide open. Myra then races to the knife drawer and pulls out a giant butcher knife.

Myra makes her way towards the doors as quietly as she can. Once she reached the doors, she noticed a bright light emitting from the beach. Myra then takes a closer look and notices that Mitch is sitting in front of the fire.

"What is he doing?" Myra sighs as she places the knife back into its drawer before stepping outside. Myra's bare feet bring her towards Mitch. As she got closer, she notices that Mitch is drinking some sort of alcohol.

"Oh Mitch." Myra sighs as she sits down in the sand beside Mitch.

"M-Myra, y-you awake." Mitch slurs making Myra shake her head.

"Not this again." Myra says remembering the night she did this exact same thing. Myra then snatches the bottle from Mitch's grasp and dumps the rest out onto the sand.

"Awe man." Mitch says sadly.

"Come on Marns, let's get you inside." Myra says as she tries to get Mitch up but all he does it lie down onto his back.

"No, I'm watching the stars." Mitch says making Myra sigh.

"Fine, then I'm gonna leave." Myra says as she then tries to get up from the ground, but before she could walk away, Mitch decides to speak up.

"Quick question." Mitch says making Myra roll her eyes.

"What is it?" Myra asks.

"Do you ever miss me?" Mitch question causing Myra to go still. With a shake of her head, Myra sits back in in the place she was before.

"Yes, of course I do." Myra answers not knowing where this conversation is going.

"I mean truly, aching at the bottom of your heart pain that you just can't ignore. Because that's how I feel, every. single. day." Mitch says causing Myra's heartbeat to pick up.
