"This is the view I get every morning!" Dara says through facetime as she rotates her phone's camera to give Myra a view of Italy.

"I wish I were you right now." Myra sighs as she wraps her blanket around her shoulders.

It's October now and it's stating to get a bit colder in New York.

"But I'm gonna miss Christmas this year! I wont be with you!" Dara replies a she flops down onto her bed.

"Yeah, well I'm spending it alone this year also." Myra sighs and Dara rolls her eyes.

"I don't get why you and Mitch aren't a thing right now. You told him you loved him, and he loved you back!" Dara says and Myra shakes her head.

"I know, but there's something that's stopping us from being together. I don't know what it is, but I can't ignore it." Myra says, then there was a short pause before Dara stated the obvious.

"You know what you're scared of? You're scared of heartbreak, both of you." Dara says and everything starts to click in Myra's head.

"Wai-"

"Myra it's so true, you guys are so scared to break each others heart's that you guys don't even get together." Dara says and Myra sighs.

"You're right, I don't want to break his heart, and he doesn't want to break mine." Myra sates.

"Oh honey, you can't break a broken heart, you can only mend it." Dara says.

"YOu talking about me or Mitch?"

"Whoever you think it is." Dara starts.

"Just, please promise me you're going to Toronto for Christmas." Dara says and Myra shrugs.

"I don't know Dara." Myra says.

"Myra, if I were you i'd be on the next flight there. You actually have the choice to spend time with the people you love, the person you love." Dara says with her voice getting quieter with each word she says.

"You miss Dylan, don't you?" Myra questions her best friend.

"I do, and if I had the chance to see him, I'd take it in a heartbeat."

So, Myra did.

TORONTO
1:12 AM

Myra steps out of the taxi after paying the kind man. Myra is quick to grab her suitcase from the truck before taking a look at the apartment building she used to live in. With a sigh, Myra walks towards the front door of the apartment and pulls out her key card.

Myra never got rid of the keys to the apartment, she could never to that. Apart of her wanted to throw them out, but the other half wanted to keep it as a memory of what she once had.

Myra takes a deep breath as she swipes the card at the front doors, hoping that it would work. WHen the light flashed green, Myra let's out the deep breath she was holding and steps into the building.

It's the same as she left it.

Myra makes her way towards the elevator and presses the up button, she's ready to see him.

As Myra's legs take her closer and closer to Mitch's door, her heart rate begins to pick up. She doesn't know what she's gonna say, all that she's hoping for is Mitch to smile.

When she finally reached his door, she lifts her shaking arm and knocks on the familiar door. Myra then takes a step back and adjusts her bun on the top of her head. All of a sudden, Myra starts to begin that her hoodie and leggings outfit is kind of sloppy. Myra was a bout to make a move down back t the lobby and into it's washroom so she could change. But before she can even think about doing that, Mitch's door is wide open and a shirtless Mitch is in view with sweatpants barely hanging on his waist.

Myra decides to take advantage of this sight in front of her.

"Auston, I thought you weren't coming over anymore." Mitch says as he rubs both of his eyes with his hands.

"Well that's a good thing I'm not Auston." Myra says and suddenly Mitch is wide awake.

"Myra?"

"Merry Christmas Marns." Myra says nervously.

Mitch then lets out a soft chuckle before he grabs Myra by the waist and drags her into the house. Mitch then reaches for her suitcase and brings it inside also. Before Myra can even speak, Mitch smashes his lips onto Myra's.

"You're an idiot." Myra says giggling once they pull away and Mitch pushes his forehead against Myra's.

"Says the woman who flew into Toronto at 1 am." Mitch says.

"Hey, I'm just trying to make some new memories." Myra laughs out.

"This one wont fade away this time." Mitch starts.

"I won't let it happen."

THE END.
