"Y/N!"
Jen calls, cutting off her trailing thoughts,
"Sorry, didn't hear you. What was it again?"
"I said, how about watching a movie this weekend?"
"Uhm,", she chews on her straw, "Sure."
Her friend sighs, "You are not over him yet, aren't you?"
Though Jen never mentions, both of them know they are thinking of one person, Chanwoo, her ex boyfriend.
The word "ex" makes her wince a bit, thinking of how they were such a great couple together. But they end in peace, not the typical fights, misunderstandings or whatsoever. One evening, when the cold wind was binding on every inch of their skins, the confession came out like an obvious truth,
"Hey, I think I have lost feelings."
And so they broke up.
"Nah,", she shakes her head lightly, looking up from her cup of coffee, "I'm over him, but I'm not over it."
"Over what?"
"The relationship. I mean, he is a good guy and stuff, but we lost feelings for each other, no one's fault, we just don't feel the same anymore. But the relationship is great, every part of it came from our hearts."
"So you are telling me that this relationship you have with a guy who loves games more than you or even his own family is worth it?"
She chuckles, "Well, you can't really tell, can you? He loves games, but he will junk his phone aside and travel the whole town searching for his brother's favourite icecream. He gets absorbed into the match, but he will spend the night having dinner and chatting with his family, cracking jokes. On top of all, he always has his earphones on, yet one side is off so he can listen to whatever I'm saying, or doing. He cares.", she rambles on, wondering internally if she's telling Jen or herself this.
Jen rolls her eyes,
"You are insane. Break up with him, regard him as a friend, and now,", she turns, glaring at the guy approaching with two slices of freshly baked cake, "even come to his shop to drink coffee? Y/N you just really lost it!!"
Chanwoo smiles at them warmly,
"Well, I think she's lost it too, especially when she is still your friend, Jen,", then he winks at her, "Have a good time!", at which she returns with a slight nod.

"Maybe letting go is not so bad after all."
