It's Friday and I decide to take a walk to the smoothie shop. Maybe I'll bump into Jess. It's super full today, it looks like Jess is barely managing. "Need some help?" Jess looks at me and smiles. "What are you doing here?" "Just thought I'd check on you. It seems like you need more than that though." She sighs. "Let me help." I get behind the counter and put on an apron. "You're so sweet. I don't think my manager would be okay with that though." "I don't see your manager." She smirks and I start helping her with the orders.

After about two hours of helping at the smoothie shop, Jess tells me it's time to close up. We start to tidy up the place. I wipe the tables and Jess gets behind me and puts her arms around my waist. "Thank you." I turn around, still in her grip and we start making out. We stop and both grin. We finish tidying up then I walk Jess home. "I can't believe you've been this close to my house this whole time." "Me neither." We giggle at nothing. "Wanna come in?" Jess says as we finally reach her house. "Nah, I have to get going." "Tomorrow then." "Tomorrow." I say with a sweet smile. I hug her then walk home.

Jess is cute and she's a great distraction from my extreme crush on Briana Green, who happens to be out of reach, but I can't help but think of what could happen if I were to meet her again and end up getting to know each other. Okay, enough fantasising Brooke. Time to sleep.

"Are you awake?" Asks Briana as I turn to face her in the bed. "Mm, now I am." "Sorry if I woke you. I just couldn't wait to give you this." "What?" I ask sitting up. "You'll see, follow me." She takes my hand and leads me down the stairs, into a living room that's decorated with candles, roses, and all that cute stuff. "Oh my goodness, baby! All this, for me?" Before I get to see what's in the box I wake up to the sound of my alarm. Wow, that was legit a whole night. It flew by so quickly. "I had another dream about Briana." I told Keyana as we had breakfast. "Girl, don't you always." "No I do not." I say rolling my eyes. She laughs. "Ain't you supposed to be all about Jess now?" "You know it doesn't happen that fast for me." "Yeah, true."

I get a text from Jess. (*)

"Let's go volunteer today!" Says Keke "Where?" "At the animal shelter." "Wow, you're in a giving mood today." "Well, Callum's gonna be there. And I thought since its your day off maybe you'd like to join us." "So I can be the third wheel? No thanks." "Come on Brooke. Let's do this for the animals." I laugh softly. "You mean Callum." She laughs "Yeah, but you're coming with." We get ready and drive to the animal shelter. "Thanks for coming to volunteer guys! You can start with cleaning the cages with the brushes." Honestly I love animals, cleaning dog poop isn't how I planned on spending my Friday though. I'll make the best of it.

I start scrubbing the cages and so do Callum and Keyana. "Yeah, I decided to come volunteer. And this isn't just for my image." I hear a familiar voice say. A news crew walks in, filming everything. Great! Briana Green is here!😒 Wait! That's actually pretty exciting! Although it only makes it harder to get over her. "Hey Eddy." She says to the guy at the desk. "Waddup Bree!" He says back.

I wonder how they know each other. I look away, then look behind me again. My heart stops as I see Briana getting closer to me. She stops at the cage next to the one I'm scrubbing and starts scrubbing. We just scrub in silence till she finally says something.
