"Hello." We hear the voice of a woman say through the intercom. "Oh shoot!" I whisper. Keke looks at me and smirks. "Is Briana home?" Asks Keke. My heart starts beating really fast. "I think you've got the wrong house." Says the lady. "Let's go." I whisper to Keke. "Nah, we're not leaving till we see Bree." Says Keyana to myself and the lady over the intercom. A few moments later the gate opens. "Oh my goodness." I whisper in shock. Keke smiles and does a little dance. "I cannot believe we're doing this." I put my hands over my face. We drive in and park. The yard is huge and has beautiful plants and pathways.

"Oh my gosh! I didn't think we'd go through with this! And it's 9:33pm right now!" Keke just smiles and then grooms me a little. "Let your hair down. And here's some lip gloss." I do as she says and we step out of the car.
We walk towards the door and it opens before we even knock. "You're lucky we let you in, all because Ms Green saw you on the camera." Keke and I look at each other. "Take at seat here and I'll run up stairs to call Ms Briana." We sit on the couch, in front of a huge fire place. She didn't go extreme, but this place looks really good.

"Hey y'all." Bree says walking down the stairs. "Bree." I stand up and hug her. Keke does the same. "So you just couldn't wait for my schedule to clear up." She says. "This was all Keke's-" "It's alright. I understand you couldn't stay away from the kid." I scoff. We sit back on the couch, and so does Bree. "Mary, can you get my friends some drinks." "Sure." She comes back a few moments later with drinks for all three of us. "I'm good." Says Bree as Mary offers her a drink. Mary walks back to the kitchen with the drink.

"How are you doing?" I ask Bree. "Can we not talk about that?" Keke walks out. "In case that will help." Says Keke. "Nah, tell Keyana to come back please." "Briana. Let's talk. I mean-we don't know each other that deeply, but I think I deserve to know how you're doing." We sit in silence as she thinks.

"Well, I'm not happy about this of course. There isn't much more I can say." I stare into her eyes and take a sip of my drink. "I'm focusing on my career right now. It just wasn't the time." "Okay." "Mary! I need a drink." Says Bree loudly. Mary comes back with a drink for Bree. "I think I need to go sleep. I've got a game tomorrow." I just stare into her eyes. I can the tell she's getting nervous. She sips her drink. "Briana, you can talk to me." "Yeah, I know." "Take your time though. This probably isn't easy for you." "Thanks for the support." I stare at her in silence again. "She meant a lot to me. I was supposed to spend the rest of my life with her." I nod and hold her hand. "It's whatever. Life happens." I look at her, still listening intently. She looks down and sighs. "There's a lot going on in my mind. I'd rather not share that right now." "Fair enough." I pull her into a warm embrace for a few moments.

"Damn! Your dog does not like me!" Says Keke, barging in. We pull apart and give our attention to Keke. "I hope you didn't upset my dog." Says Briana, making me smile. "It's so fierce but tiny!" "Dynamite comes in small packages." "I knew it was a bitch!" Says Keke. "Okay, we have to go now." I say standing up. "You've only been here for ten minutes!" Bree whines. "Don't you have a game tomorrow?" I raise my brows. She laughs. "Yeah." "Exactly." Keke and I start walking out. Bree walks out with us.

"Well, thanks for stalking me and finding my house to come talk to me." Keke hugs her goodbye, then I do. For a little longer than I expected. "Text me." Says Briana. I smile and wave bye, then I get into Keke's car and soon we're off.
